he will not retire...as the day he retires 1/2 of India would stop watching cricket...:-D
At least Indian team still requires Sachin therefore he is playing but why ponting is not retiring????? Is it just to score few more centuries????
Ponting will be remembered in history as a player who wanted to break at least one record of sachin (i.e. to score maximum no. of centuries) and still failed. Remember the difference between sachin and ponting is of around 25 centuries.

Ponting is 2 years younger than Tendulkar. He has not only played well, but led his team to maximum wins.
Tendulkar is going to Bangladeshi monnows only to add more personal records.

Ponting makes centuries against only against weak west indies and english bowlers. His record against India is poor..Harbhajan has made him his bunny, and also Ishant. Tendulkar, ganguly, dravid are light years ahead, since they score in all pithces and venues

Yeah....the bunny was seen beating the pulp out of Harbhajan and Ishant in the recent ODI series, that too in India...!!!! Loser...go get a life.
