Simons is not a very popular name. He has not played any tests at all. The article says he was SA's coach during 2002-04. Everybody knows how SA performed in the 2003 WC held in that country.

It seems coach Kirsten is sponsoring him and it also now looks like Kirsten did not like Venky much.

After all BCCI is a bunch of politicians who wants to control the largest money-making sports body in India.

It is simply not about who gets selected eventually, what is of the utmost importance is "Is anyone really interested in improving India's performance"?

Prasad should be brought back. He helped our spin bowlers a lot. As Prasad himself was a slow bowler in disguise of a fast bowler, he understood our slow bowlers and helped them a lot.

Obvioulsy Prasad understands nothing about fast bowling so we lost Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel and now Ishant Sharma due to lack of guidance. But still Prasad was good atleast for guidance for slow bowlers, so he should be recalled.
