Even he is an overrated bowler. Remember he tried to act smart by indulging in sledging against Adam Gilchrist in the 2003 WC final and was rightly slaughtered all around. He may be just a bowler who takes a wicket or two when the going is not tough but certainly not a matchwinner.
I agree with Kirsten, as India has already won the series it is good to give exposure to the yougsters, I think they have not done bad, though we lost the match.

Fact is without sachin/sehwag, indian team is useless as long as political dhobi is captain

Dhobi was realy nervous as he wanted to prove that he can win without sachin aginst quality side like SA but again proved wrong. Same way he was proved in test when two key member dravid/laxman missing in 1st test. Politician dhobi has to admit that no one replace sachin/sehwag/dravid/laxman/zaheer whatever politics he does.

Also I agree Dhoni needs Sehwag and Sachin in ODI and that is why he played them when the series was open. When the series was sealed, he experimented.

When did Dhoni do politics against Sachin or Sehwag or Zaheer? India lost the ODI and in ODI Laxman was never part of in past few years.
Also the players whom he got for Dravid, did well. Kohli and Raina did well given the asking rate India was having.
The main reason for defeat was bowling which Kirsten pointed out.

but how long can we have these guys in team? Another 2 yrs? At some point we will have to give chance to youngsters and this was the chance for it. Any captain will love to win a match without senior players.
