It is not qualifier match..its a Pool B league match..I think you are qualified to report sports for rediff

Rediff is waiting for the pak Govt to certify that the 11 players on the field are paki citizens
India's Bowling Reserves look weak and meek with the likes of Mithun Tyagi Sreesanth which is going to create lot of problems for the Indian team in the coming future.I think BCCI should try to develop youngsters to take up pace bowling by setting up academies

Even they were average bowlers at best, with bowling averages above 29. To be classified as a really good bowler, one needs to have a bowling average at least around 26.

ABEY O RASCAL KAPIL DEV WAS NOT A AVERAGE BOWLER..HE WAS THE BEST...

by Dire Straits on Feb 28, 2010 08:16 PM
Then why exactly did he average more than 29 with the ball, when his contemporaries like Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee, All 4 of the West Indian fast bowlers, and Dennis Lillee had averages below 25? No use taking 400 wickets if a bowler can not maintain an average of at least around 26.

Getting those wickets in the subcontinent with the available Indian fielding is something nobody can do. Kapil can not be compared with anyone. He played as a lone warrior, like Sachin played for most of the 1990s.
Why you guys always support on the basis of religion? whatever it is, musls always support muslims only..not the talent. i saw so many comments on Dance India dance..whatever it is..its true tht muslms always talk and act on religion basis...some guys are talking abt munaf and irfar..they both have got enough chances..and they didn't perform well, why don't you talk abt Agarkar? he is also a good bowler...who has good record like irfan and both r batsmans..so your intension is clear..u want musls only.

Hello, you are forgetting the fact that cricket is a team sport. On most of the occasions the team has let Sachin down by not supporting him with bat/ball or in fielding. India is a team of 11 players (1 Mount Everest and rest 10 pebbles).Dhoni also should understand this fact and sincerly admire Sachin .I still doubt his sincerity in showing respect to Sachin is only a Dhikawa. He always wants a youg team and dont care about the greatness of senior players like Sachin,Dravid,Laxman, sehwag. He was the main reason in the downfall Sourav, i feel.

Please don't forget that Cricket is a Team sport and not an individual sport. Howsoever great a player may be, it is foolish on our part to expect him to win a team game on his own. So India wins world cup next year or not, Sachin is still one of the greatest player of all times.

Please dont say something just rubbish. Atleast spare Sachin. He is a real class. From the past or present no body can hold his hand. I dont know about future. But presently I cant see the batsman of his caliber anywhere in the world

I will rather prefer Goni over agerkar, Agerkar has reach to his age. Young talent need to be injected.

AS Far as my knowledge Dhoni should continuously try wit Tyagi & Ishanta because these two blowers can make a difference because of their height & pace.
