Badrinath - A Big Flopstar in cricket
by cmm on Feb 27, 2010 07:18 AM

first tell him to learn how to bat. baby badri watch sachin/sehwag/gambhir/dravid batting styles and prepare well and then dream of playing in indian team...we all know how u got selected..it is bcoz of srikanth(a tamil fanatic). srikanth always neglects talents and selects only from his race

The problem of India is our's is a democratic country, So even those who do not know whether CRICKET IS AN EATABLE ITEM OR A SPORT starts giving judgement. They do not know what it is to become an international player. Any one who desires to make a comment must be first asked to face atleast one delivery of Zaheer Khan and then open their mouth. It is ridiculous.

Badri chance may have come too late.

I think Vijay is in all squads because Srikanth wants his son Anirudha to open for Tamil Nadu. If Vijay is not picked then his son will have to fight for a place in the TN team This way its easy.

Dirty politics.

Somebody is pushing from behaind for this guy!!
by k p on Feb 26, 2010 02:11 AM  | Hide replies

Badrinath has been tested, retested and given again innumerable chances both in the Tests and One-days!! He fared only in less than 5% of his appearnaces! Yet the Tamil Nadu selector hand picked him for more One-day/Tests!! I have never seen this happened to any other player in the last 10 years!! BADRINATH IS SUPER FLOP!! Giving Vijay a chance and dump this guy, the selector's favorist!! Now, somebody is writing a poetry for BADRINATH!!

He played 2 tests in the series and this is his first Test series and he played only 3 ODI's so far, when was he tested and re-tested? Based on his domestic performance I would say he was ignored for a long time, you have to check your stats again bro.

Ur correct Raj. Most of the guys commenting on BAdri and Vijay think as if they were given 50 chances and assume they have failed in all the 50 chances. They are just getting their chances now. People who criticize them have very selective memory about Indian team selection. They have forgotten n number of players who played cricket spanning years of years continously despite their poor show. I do not want to go back and pin point any examples. I wonder why people lose their temper so easily when players from south fail on very few occassions. On the contrary, I either see a selective memory or 200% tolerance from people when the many cricketers fail continously for atleast 5 seasons. I felt that Badri had played very well against a tough South African bowling to score a good 50.Can the guys who criticize BAdri tell about the scores of other players and ask them to comment on the same ? I am sure no one will bother to do it.

GIVE karthik THE WICKET-KEEEPING GLOVES, willl you SOB dhongi
by E darwin on Feb 25, 2010 11:43 PM  | Hide replies

DHONGI WAS initially NEVER scrutinized as batsmen... he went way down the order when he like.

KARTHIk SHOULD NOT BE SCRUTINIZED as batsmen only, GIIIIIVE HIM THE GLOOOVES.

Re: GIVE karthik THE WICKET-KEEEPING GLOVES, willl you SOB dhongi
DHONGI should be beaten AND KICKED OUT LIKE BAAABUAS are!!!! that is the only proper WAAAY WITH BABUAAS.
i mean beaten with a STICK AS THEY DO IN BIHAR. that is what they understand.

Ashish -
ask virus and ... to F-OFFF,

they DONT need to GIVE ME THESE FALSE STATS of how best is Dhongi as captain,
based on hard work of 10 other fidayeens in team.

we lost last world 1 dayer and world T20. dont blame it on 10 players now for that loss.

it is becoming UNFAIIIIRR EVERY TIME. SELECTORS HAVE NO BAALS TO STAND UP.

virus -
Ask your clever arsses,

dont drag tendulkar into the politics that baabuas are savvy with. we saw yesterday what dhongi was doing to tendulkar 200 yesterday. coverups have failed.

THAT IS ENOUUUUGH OFFF DIIIRT in teeeam that we have tolerated.

virus -
pittty your ownnnn arssse you faanatic baabuaaa liaaars.

Friends -
time to ROTATE WICKET KEEPING GLOVES TO karthik like bowling, batting,

time to rotate the captain, need to give credit for other 10 fidayeen who faught for INDIA.

let us not drag tendulkar into it.

SOMEONE just NEEDS TO end this politics of dhongi & scared deal making selector srikant.

Srinkant, get your 'deal making tail' out from between your legs & be a man

Badrinath is old
by James Bond on Feb 25, 2010 08:34 PM  | Hide replies

Badrinath is 29 years old.... and he has been a big flop. He talks more than he plays, there are better players in this country who talk less

also he is in the team because of Srikanth, else he would have never made it to Indian team based on talent alone

Players dont talk all by themselves. Its the media that goes to the player for bytes. If the media is going to Badrinath, it means he is good enough to be selected. BIG FLOP? Where? he has played only two tests, and in one test, he scored a fighting 56 that saved India the embarassment. In domestic cricket, he has been a run machine (he has just scored another century yesterday). Stop being anti-South in your opinion.
