idiotic!
by soloman williams on Feb 24, 2010 11:31 AM

They must know that any match, pays for every single unit of electricity consumed, that too at a commercial rate.police arrangements are charged too. Then a huge amount goes to government by means of taxes on tickets and broadcast.secondly, all amount paid to the players generates a huge income tax,be it Indian players or foreign players.Huge amount of publicity bills generate huge service tax.A great number of manual laborers get employment during the course of match and its preparation, including ground and gallery maintainance. Those persons filing such silly PIL's must be severely punished for waste of very valuable judiciary time.....and sites like rediff must know better than publishing such rubbish!

Very good application. This is exactly true it would be utter waste of energy if IPL matches are held at night.

the increase will be added to tkt only. So watch it only in the TV and don't go to the stadium if the price is too high

The cost per unit is calculated as per the prevailing commercial charges. and not domestic charges
