that too in India, i think they wont take money and lose, apart from Lee every one seems honest, the same could not be said about the S A team, past has proved it

Thats true.
Return of Shaun Tait has outdated out of form Brett Lee. Their pace battery including Johnson, Bollinger, Siddle and Harris is lethal combination that no other team in the world has.
Their batting line up is pretty young and very talented. Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh, White had very good India tour.
Australians adjust very fast because they have variety of pitches. Perth and Brisbane are fast Green tops, Adelaide and Melbourne are slow turners and Sydney is good for fast and spin bowlers as well.
Contrary to these all other teams play on one type of wicket at home.

What you people are talking? I suggest never use pace bowlers against asstralia. We will give advantage to assies for making strokes. Do you know who are most wicket takers in history of cricket? All spinners. It is the brain which gives you wicket, not pace. Pace can be easily used by a good batsman into his favor.

JD:
;-).... Wot logic... :)
BTW, why do we have "brainless" bowlers like Zaheer, Ishant, Nehra, Praveen, Irfan, Sreesanth, RP Singh etc. in the team when "it is the brain which gives you wicket, not pace." ?? :)
You really show us clearly that the powers that be in the BCCI are the ones who are actually brainless for not having understood this simple facet of cricket despite the free of charge advice from a world renowned cricket expert like you ... :)
And By the way, Srikanth was talking about the Australian pace attack. I daresay that pace attack will not be used against Australia.... so dunno why you shot off your mouth giving advice where none was required.... :)
It is a fact that the Australian Cricket Team is slowly shaping well after the retirement of great players. A number og genuine allrounders are in the team
Now it can be safely said that the Aussies have completed the so-called 'Transition'. With only Ponting, Clarke and Hussey remaining from the old all-conquering team and the fast bowling department completely replenished, the Aussies are surely on their way back to the top. Thair only concern would be a back up spinner for Nathan Hauritz who could prove ineffective aginst the sub-continent teams. The leg spinner Steven Smith who is just 20 years old, and already working with Shane Warne could take over from Hauritz. David Warner, Philip Hughes, Cameron White , Callum Fergusen...all have got enough international experience and have proved to be very good players. So when Ponting and Hussey decides to call it a day, they have capable replacement in the batting department too. Now India is the only team still heavily dependent on the veterans. All others have moved on.

They cant win against SA, Ind and Eng(remember the Ashes). The only captain of Australia to lose 2 Ashes in more than 100 yrs is Ponting the idiot

Good. So you prove Junior Shelly's point that they did have a side in transition.... :)
Shelly gave a logic based message... yours seems to be typical "Indian cricket fan" response..... "Only one side ever plays in the spirit of the game" ishtyle... :)

Only 4 moths back they won ICC Champions Trophy so convincingly and then defeated Team India 4-2 in India.

Chaturchuramoni Chatterjee:
I really think that Australian players will be flattered when you start comparing a Shane Watson with a Sehwag, a Hauritz or a Smith with Harbhajan, a Haddin with a Dhoni.... :)
Boss, even Karthik has played 23 tests and 39 ODIs compared to a "veteran" Haddin - 25 tests and 61 ODIs... :)
If Bhajji, Nehra, Zaheer, Yuvi, Sehwag and Gambhir are "YOUNGSTERS" with about 100 plus ODIs each under their belt, then I don't know what a veteran side would look like.... :)

Actually seniors are not needed. Seniors are their to make personal records and commercial contracts.
Indian team should be in the range of 18-30 year olds in the team only. Then only you can expect this team to win major tournaments.
They won T20 WC in 2007 because of a very young and energetic team.
After the ASHES loss, they have played 27 ODIs out of which they have lost just 3 matches and they have won Series against India in India(with a injury depleted B side), England in England,CT in SA, home series with WI and Pak......If they continue like this, they will easily win WC2011

They also need to put their foot down on the ground. They cant be arrogant as they were. Too much of over confidence will eliminate them easily.
