What is the real meaning of "Run Feast"? In the modern days of cricket, 300 is not a run feast. Is it? Curator in Jaipur said "we are in for a run feast" and 298 was the "feast".

First of all, why making flat, flatter, flattest wickets in the name of entertainment? Just to see 1000 runs made in a day with the bowlers being hit all around the park?
Even today, Agarkar had bowling figures of 10 overs 1 maiden 29 runs and 1 wicket in Vijay Hazare match against Punjab. He was the hero of Ranji trophy finals. Still he is not finding place in the team when current bowlers are being hit all over the park even by tailenders. All due to politics of Srikanth and Dhoni.

Not politics of Dhoni or Srikant but former selectors who never considered allrounders. They preferred a bowler who would give 50 in 10 overs rather than 60 in 10 overs but capable of scoring a fast 20 or 30. Latest victim is Irfan Pathan.

Bowling against average domestic side is quite different from bowling against top international teams. Agarkar tends to lose his rythm once the batsmen start attacking him and bowls loose deliveries galore. That is the problem.

hey then what abt sreesanth, nehra etc who have been clobbered by even tailenders as seen in B'desh and now against SA...Agarkar is far better than these joke of a bowlers...

agarka was the player who has record of maximally selected and dropped from team. he was given ample chances. As far as his batting concern less said is better.

I agree to most of the things, but I dont agree that Dhoni "beat many to become captain of Indian cricket team in all formats". The management wanted to have someone "young" to lead the team and the other option that they had was Yuvi, which would have been a disaster. Dhoni became the captain and it worked... Thats all..!
I am not against him at all.. In the current set of things, he is the best for the job and has shown the talent and ability in all forms of the game..!! Kudos to him!
