the bane of indian cricket gavskar and shastri after the stupendous win, where are they..especially gavaskar never seen or heard him..when india does well..he simply vanishes in thin air.? for someone who critizes india so heavily..cannot forget his commentary when hashim amla got to 100 in first innings, never heard him getting so excited even when sachin scores a hundred.now wonder what he must be feeling..gavaskar and shastri the bane of indian cricket..its they who represent media are hurting india most and putting pressure on Indians.

You are absolutely wrong. Gavaskar and Shastri are the most ardent supporters of Indian Cricket. You have absolutely no idea.
These(Proteas) Guys play cricket the hard way,even Yesterday they fought well,But credit to India,First the Batsmen who put up a Huge total(Laxman Gives the Solidity to MO).Bowlers bowled well,but iam Apprhensive about the consistency of our bowlers,Harbajan looks good in one Test,& other he is Offcolor. Ishant really needs rest,& come back with the Same sharpness he should against Aussies.

yes Kiran, it will serve duo purpose, the main purpose to give INDIA enough chance to fight to retain their no 1 position in test & it will also give sachin more chance to reach coveted 15k mark before retirement.. he should surely get 50 100s atleast from herein now, if not 51 or 52 (now 47).. 8-9 test matches atleast every year for INDIA, BCCI should arrange..

if he gets 51 100s in test he needs to score 49 100s in ODIs, if 52 in test 48 in ODIs to get incredible 100 100s in international cricket..to get 3 to 4 more ODI 100s, he needs to play well from herein in ODIs & score 100s whenever he gets closer say around 65-70.. suppose he plays 14-15 more ODIs before retiring from ODIs at the end of 2011 WC, he gets past 50s 6-7 occassion, he should tries to convert atleast 3 of them into 100 to make sure he requires maximum 52 100s in test to score 100 100s in international matches.. even if not(but we all wants him to get 100 100s as he is so close now, 92 100s now after amaging 4 100s in 4 tests so far in this year), he will get very very close to 100 100s, say 98 100s, which will itself be a huge huge & amaging record.. 97-98 100s if not 100 100s (which we all want now being so close to it now) along with around 33000 international runs (over 30800 now)..

70, 51 test 100s now.. 9 tests atleast per year for INDIA BCCI should arrange
