Raina would have been best option than Badrinath Badrinath scored just an half century. Rain has played well in the one day, so he must get a chance in the test.

how can u drop a player (badrinath) who has scored half-century in his debut innings and that too against the likes of STEYN & MORKEL. what u expect from a debutant, century?
Badrinath deserves a place in Indian team. after ganguly's retirement, selectors should have picked BADRI ahead of YUVRAJ. BADRI has scored 27 centuries in his domestic career and he has been performing well since last 5 years.
BADRI has shown his class and temperament by spending lot of time at the crease, he was also involved in a century partnership with sehwag.
Raina is more suited for ODIs and T20s not for TESTS (just like YUVRAJ)

I Dont Know At What based Mr.Dhoni Selected ishant Sharma. From last 2 years he is Outoff Form.harbhajan Must have been Drop from the Team.Shreesanth is the same Case.Instead of Doping them from test side He Drop Mithun and Tyagi. He not given theam a Single Chance to Play for the Country .All Bowlers Not Performed well Must have Been Drop from the Side.We Must think about the Future By giving New Bowlers Chance to Play like Mithun,Kulkarni,Sudeep Tyagi all Performed Well New Domestic Cricket.I Dont Know have Many Changes are Given Dhoni. I think Dhoni Not thinking about. I think Dhonis Frindship Comes Under all thise things. He Must have think about India Not Personal Friendship with the Bowlers. One more thought Why Srinkant Not Select Abhishek Nayar,Ajinkya Rahane for the Test instead of Badrinath?

Why curse the bowlers? Our batsmen lost us the first test. There is no difference between Sharma/ Sreesanth/ Nehra/ RP Singh/ Munaf/ Tyagi. But Irfan is different. If he decides to put everything into one of his deliveries, he can still touch 125 kph.
harbhajan and ishant are dhoni's favourites.so they are still in team.inspite of their worst performance for months, they are selected.i hate watching cricket now..
I can't think why India "think tank" can't think of Sreesanth who is a good swing bowler with reverse swing, and has a great record against South Africans is left out. Any body explain why is Ishant Sharmaji is being dragged into Kulkotta. Is it moolah talking or recommendations or lack of brain cells or we don't like being No:1..hmmm Jai Ho!

On any day Srisanth and Ashish Nehra are far better for Tests when compared to Ishant. Even Munaf Patel would be a better option.
Re: lot of scrap in indian team

last three are crap. thyagi/mithun/irfan (all rounder) can be a good replacement. vijay/badri are still new, need international level experience. vijay plays his 5th and badri on 2nd.. can't predict still. these to has talents and making it to playing 11 after 5 years
why did the team mgmt opted for Ishant. He is totally out of colour. Atleast Sree should be tried. Ishant is bowling leg stump line. Kristen or Dhoni can advise him now... Ishant is becoming a villian in indian team
