BCCI

Cricket may be religion to all Indian fans. But BCCI has become den of egoists. When Mr,Dalmiya was the heading BCCI we gave him a good pitch in Nagpur. Now Dalmiya is paying back the coin in Calcutta. Let us face it.

Dhoni has all the right to ask for a pitch to suit his team's strengths. If anyone complains that India can't play on a bouncy wicket why can't the others try and show that they can play on a turner? When you play in Brisbane, you don't get a turning track. When you tour SA, you don't get that either! But, only in India, those who still haven't come out of the colonial mindset, prepare the pitch that's suitable to the opponents and claim that they've done their job of preparing a sporting wicket. If you love your nation, support it with all means withing the legal boundaries. Else well, there's another name... traitor...

harbandar singh
by sreejesh on Feb 13, 2010 07:43 PM

you guys know one thing this harbajan singh is a moody person he is an animal he has got the potential to play but on a day when some one disturbs him he gets awfully annoyed and forgets to play for the team because his anger takes control over his brain thats is his heart takes control over his brain (this is mentioned in his interview to rediff that he plays with his heart and not brain). So harbhajan singh is an animal and he cant be dependable in any ways for the success of the indian team tomorrow

Dhobi and Gangs
by India Shining on Feb 13, 2010 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

are one and the same. When Gangs was captain he used to ask for creating turning wickets to suit his batting (as he was no good against pace). When the wicket at Nagpur (while playing aus I guess) was a greentop, he faked injury and sat out of the match. Expectg Dhobi to do the same shortly- he will suddenly get abuttocksprain I guess. No more expected fromdungbelters after all.

Yes, against Australia in 2004-05 Ganguly did not play after finding a sporting pitch at Nagpur.

I don't belive this pich is bouncy track..in world criket it self bouncy track gradually vanishing ,result ..below avarage batsman even dhoni hitting century..(rembering perth)..anyway indian spin track actually not a spin track but after 3 days paches coming into tracks, so getting unbelibable turn..anyway if we crate real sporty wickets it will save indian cricket no doubt about it.

4 Test tons and 9 more International tons required..........
by Dire Straits on Feb 13, 2010 07:18 PM  | Hide replies

For Sachin to reach 50 Test tons and 100 International tons respectively. Go Sachin ...............

No cricketer even in another 200 years will be able to break the record of reaching 100 International tons.

And if BCCI cared to schedule at an average of 15 tests per year as done by Australia, the records of Tendulkar and Dravid would have been beyond all cricketers for decades.

What you will get out of this personal landmark? they are good for Tendulkar, but no value for any other person.

Lets wish that Team India is able to win major tournaments like WC in 2011, ICC CT 2011 etc. We are concerned about these achievement. Personal achievements are insignificant for us.

Maybe for you but not for us !! We would love to see an Indian hold all the world records in the world.

As for those world records, how many Test series did any team win against the West Indies in the 70's and 80's ? Those records have helped us win 3 bloody Test series against Australia and draw one Test series against Australia away from home since 1990. That's 10 times more valuable than a World Cup. No team can boast of even 2 Test seriew victories against Australia since 1990 except India.
