BCCI thinks flat pitches will allow our batsmen to score more runs and stay top in the socalled ICC ratings. It backfires when top teams like SA, Australia play here.
Series is hyped as a battle to acheive the test no.1 spot but do they care about quality of matches??If they want cricket lovers specialy the test cricket fans to enjoy the game it should be played on sporting wickets. Just like the one in Mysore where Ranji final was played and increase the fan base.Else two top teams playing each other in a test match on a flat pitch will always result in a draw.. these matches are no good to anyone but for batsmen to increse there career avges and sponsers to put add between overs for five days.

Its high time to throw bajji out of team. careers of chawla, Ojha and also amit is at risk, If we analysis bajji as a top spinner, the results are embarassing, considering india's bowling strength in shape of spin. Bajji strikes once in a blue moon, when you compare Bajji with other teams main spinner, bajji ranks last, even Bangadeshi spinner contribute more wickets to theri team when compared to our sardar.
Yesterday together they dropped one catch. Today Dhoni dropped one catch. Vijay dropped one more. Cricinfo reported one and half chances are dropped (I don't know which one is half chance). Dhoni, if Saha is the better keeper, you must give the keeping gloves to him now
