Dhoni could have opted for 5 bowlers. Two of the current four are not in form for long - Ishant and Harbhajan and currently it is like playing two bowlers short.
Ojha and Amit Mishra would have been a better combination. South African lower order may still fail against quality spin, let us wait and see if Mishra will run through the lower order. Also, they could have tried either Mithun or a pace bowler from the under-19 team instead of Ishant.
Dead pitches are killing test cricket - it's so boring! And Indian bowlers are not exactly lethal - even B'desh makes almost 300 runs off them in one-dayers. They have to be lucky to get wickets on such tracks. Why dont we get it? Change some wickets in India and train more lethal pace bowlers and also batsmen to face them. That way when they go out they can both be deadly. And slowly they can make all pitches in India to suit both pace and spin. Being strong in only one or two area will never make world champions out of us - at least not over the long-term.
Harbhajan..only good in talks..his spin doesnt talk..spinners like mishra doesnt get chance coze of harbhajan..dhoni always favor him coze he is business partner..very sad that after kumble left we have no real genuine spinners who can turn the match in indias favor..Harbhajan i always consider him as an ordianry spinner..it is only the media has given him hype.its time now to drop him for ever...

you know, kumble was almst forced to retire because of the POS Media. They made so much hue and cry over Mishra's 5 wicket haul against aus. Where is Mishra now ? besides the 5 wicket haul, mishra's performance has not been worthy of Kumble's shoes
This team has only batting and no bowling. This proves that you can be No. 1 only through one department of the game.... does not auger well for the game.

He will play along with his son Indian team. What is wrong with it? Age discrimination should not be encouraged. Performance should be the criteria.

We are facing a spinner-drought in this country. Quite unprecedented. Thats why Bhajji is hanging on!
I am a huge cricket fan and I love to watch Indian batmen, the best in the world. But please dont play cricket in India anymore. The pitches are killing the game! Can we always play away games? Or can we play home games always in Mohali?

If the series ends in a draw india retains their no.1 test status. That is the reason for this dead pitch. But it will be difficult for India to draw the match also from this position.
