From the beginning India is ably supported by their Spinners when it comes to bowling, (which is main strength of the team) its realling disappointing that Harbajan is out of form for several years now... and Team doesn't have any to replace the Great Kumble..

How India will get the spinner? Amit Mishra garbed 7 wickets in 1st Test in Bangladesh & scored 51 being night watchman. Next test he dropped. Harbhajan entered who was unable to show good performance for a long period in all fields- batting, bowling & fielding. Many easy catches dropped which would have not been dropped by school level players also.
These r happening due to internal clashes.
Not only in spin, in fast bowling so many boys r waiting in the country since they have no backing power from political, senior players. Regionalism is also working behind the hindrance in entry of those players. Who Cares!!!
Though VVS may be a world class player but portrays his sinical views about the bench strength available across India. Every senior cricketer is a selfish person and never pays any attention to other state crickets. He mentions only Ambatti Rayadu but there are several quality crickets available in Tamil nadu also. He should take a note of this

KS: Several other quality cricketers in Tamil Nadu. Why only Tamil Nadu, there r many in other parts of India and i can bet on that. He is talking abt Ambatti Rayadu as he has seen him more than he may sen others and found him to b good.
my all time great india 11 and world 11 after 1970 for test matches has been aproved by IBM-super computer. They are gavaskar, sehwag ,dravid ,tendulkar, azhar, lakxhman, kapil, dhoni kumbley,zaheer,srinath,mankerekar(12th man)
world 11 Gavaskar,gooch,ponting,lara,border,miandad,stewart(WK),headlee warne,akram,andi roberts,Dravid(12th man)
A country with over 1.1 billion folks and they're struggling to find one good spinner- and worse, they 're yet to develop a single real pace bowler- even Zaheer, good as he is, can't really be categorized as a 'pace' bowler.

A country with over 1.1 billion folks with no real pace bowler, no good spinner. But still number one in Test cricket. Is not that great :)

Also, they should visit Tiruppur in TN where they can find all types of spinners.
has included Ambati Rayudu as potential player along with Raina and Rohit. This regional mentality is killing indian cricket. Where is Rayudu in the list of probables when players with tremendous talent viz. Pujara, Manish Pandey, Badrinath, Kohli are struggling to find a place in the team. Laxman should think India as a whole while making such statement instead of doing propaganda for a player of his own State who has less potential than others.
