favours players from england/austrlia... recent example... ponting failed miserably in 5 matches against pakis but lost only 30 points... if it was an indian player they they lose 30 points by failing in one game itself...

it is not question of being good... plain simple facts... how come ponting failed miserably against pakis in 5 matches and lost only 30 points where as players from other countries barring england and aussies would have lost close to 100 points...

because rankings consider last 12 months performance and ponting didnt do that great last jan-feb too..so he lost just 30 points
these icc ratings are fraud as they are biased and favours players from england/austrlia... ponting failed miserably against pakis in 5 matches but lost just 30 points whereas players from india always lose 30-40 points even with one failure... and then they will give some bird-brained formulas to justify those rankings...
As a player Dhoni is much valuable player than Hussey, because he is wicketkeeper batsman. For being a wicketkeeper Dhoni needs more stamina and concentration comparison to Hussey. As a batsman both are equal in ability. Dhoni is performing as a captain which makes him special.

1. team India No 1 in test 2. team India No 2 in ODI 3. Winning T20 world cup. 4. Winning many overseas test series. 5. Winning 2 test matches against austrailia.
wat about 20 years cricket played by so called legend. Other than individual records this legend doesnt know anything

Dhoni, in his career as captian so far hasn't groomed any world class talent. He got a gifted team from Ganguly, who groomed Yuvi, Zaks 'n Viru. No doubt he's a cool customer, 'n very good in improving battin avg, he's nowhere comparable to Hussey .. Further, though Sachin has never been a good leader, he was never hungry for captaincy .. bt you cant question his contribution to indian cricket .. he's a legend .. 'n atleast YOU cant take nething away from him ..

hussey and company should ask their fathers at icc to become more biased and give top rankings only to players from england/australia..
Dhoni is class act.. He is cool, Good wicketkeeper, Good Batsman too.. Not stylist like Rahul/Sachin/VVS.. either not blaster like Sehwag.. But he is good enough to lead the side. One thing to remember.. Ganguly is the MAN behind Dhoni's success/ Team India's Success. Same like Steeve Waugh for Ponting Success. Ponting got readymade Team ( Gilli/Hydro/Martin/Roy/Binga/Warne/Glen/Bevan) to Lead.. like Dhoni too(Sehwag/Sachin/Rahul/Yuvi/Zaheer/Bhajji/VVS)
All of our Batsmen are all flat track bullies. Even they can not handel Bangladeshis also. Chitgaon Test for that is great example. Hussy is a great batsman b'coz he performs for victory. Dhoni, the presnt ad-man is consistent in keeping the averages. Hence, we could not win the recent tri serise in B'desh. Dhoni like SRK is a media hyped man. Sachin, Rahul are class they have performed in all the conditions.
