Untill they all including Gilchrist.Symonds and Hayden publicly accept and apologise the cheating and snatching of Sydney match from India in Sydney 2008 ,they will continously be humiliated like this ,the day they accept the plot they created to defeat India ,they will be back to their old days,

We didnt cheat.India is a poor and weak team which sucks so badly it cant even win against Bangladesh abroad.Steve Bucknor gave right decisions in that match and Ricky,Symmo,Gilly and Pup played in the right spirit of the game,India are cry babies and we are the best. This time due to England cheating we are not winning but the game isnt over yet, watch out.GO AUSSIES GO!

Haha.. never underestimate australia. A team that has won last 4 world cups will find a way to win again. Until they lose, don't count them out.. lol

India & future
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 27, 2010 12:57 PM  | Hide replies

If India suffers after Sachin, Dravid retire, the blame should be shared by these seniors also who prolonged their career beyond 35 years to kill career of youngsters.

Sachin and Dravid got opportunities at very early age and there was not much competition or too much cricket at that time whereas now the time has changed. So many youngsters come in to team but thrown out when they fail in one or two matches. A player who consistently scoring or bowling well in domestic cricket should get longer run in international cricket when included.

Unfortunately our selectors have tendency to play havoc with the talented youngsters in this Country other wise we can build excellent team for the future with the talents available.

you don't need to give longer run in international Cricket to show ur Talesnt if you are talented you will make your way in teh team and will force seniors to retire..Indian cap should be earned not gifted to you by seniors... for your info greats Like Sachin, dravid Started performing at teh beginning of their career... Sachin played 20 of his first 21test in Foreign soil and averaged 38.. Dravid scored a brilliant 95 in his first innings... show me a talent who dis like that and still out of the team... Still we could not fill teh vacant Gangulys position and u r talking about Sachin dravid retirement...

Ponting should give up captaincy. I feel he might be just one innings away from hitting a purple patch like Sachin.

He need not because Cricket Australia will remove this man after this series. He may not play next a couple of tests as sword of ban is hanging on his head for his misbehaviour and disagreemnt with Aleem Dhar in this Test.

If Pakis had fixed that match, then why did they win? It was Aussie batting which collapsed in that team...

No:1 team!!!!!!!!!
by hari narendran on Dec 27, 2010 12:50 PM  | Hide replies

Just wondering on what basis India is the No:1 team in the world at present, when they perform pathetically abroad??

It is not just because of their current performance in SA, but to be No.1, a team should perform at home and abroad on a consistent basis for many years, not even 1 or 2 years.

Though India had won some series abroad here and there, eventhough not a big series margin, India had never performed consistently at least for some continous years.

And to think about a team which does not have even "good pair" of "medium-pace" bowlers (not a great pair of fast bowlers) to be the No.1 team in the world is so funny.

As Indians who love cricket, we can be proud for the time being that, statistically on paper, India is the No:1, but I think the whole world knows that India is not worth to be the No:1 in the world, I think can be No:3 after South Africa or England!!!

Better you should stop watching Cricket and settle somewhere in England and South Africa!!

If you cant recognize the achievements of your own Country and Team than just shut your mouth and sit at home or settle abroad

"Achievements", ur still talking about that 20/20 victory 4 years back????

Boss, what i meant was, to be considered as No:1 strong team in the world, not only recognized by the Indians, but the whole world, India should perform like the West Indies of the 80s and the Australians of the 90s and 2000.

If India could perform like that, it is great, but we cannot see a glimpse of that happening in the next 10 years.

And for the "achievement" that we made or what we are going to make, can you name a single quality bowler for India?????

That is very well said. India has not performed well abroad... If we don't win this world cup given that it is taking place in india, we should not be given rank 1.

SUCCESS IS NOT A TEAM WORK
by mahesh mahesh on Dec 27, 2010 12:46 PM  | Hide replies

Australian success was not a team work as the same was solely dependent on individual performances of Waugh Brothers, Warne. Gilchrist,Pointing, and that great fast bowler and once they have left the game, see the result!!!!

The same is happening to India. After rthe retirement of Great Kumble, Indian bowling is in tatters and Harbhajan's bhajan is increased!!! After Tendulkar and Dravid retires, then the batting also will be at low whicH sinews are already to be seen.

I feel the attraction to cricket is waning and with these great stars going out cricket will bid a bye!!!

No one will come to see Dhoni, Yuvraj,Harbhajan etc as they were crazed about Kapil, Ravi Shastri,Azhar,Srikant,Ganguluy,Kumble,Dravid,Srinath,TENDULKAR,who were apart from being STARS anbd crowd pullers, were match winners with glamour unlike then present ones.
Further with politics taken over good players are not being selected specia;;y from South barring Tamil Nadu players,

Common Ramdas... u r making wrong theory... Yuvraj/Raina/Waseem jaffer and many others have got their chances to prove but they didnt grab their chances.. but they failed... secondly if u find India as no 1 in test ranking.. then u cant forget the contribution from these two stalwarts of Indian Cricket... you named Sachin and Dravid... be careful when u talk about these great batsmen... but at the end they are human beings.. and they will retire... just enjoy their class and stay in indian team as long as they are contributing....

should punish both Ponting and Siddle for vociferously arguing with Aleem Dhar over his decision which proved very right and Peiterson was declared not out. If it was any player from the sub continent these referees jump immediately to levy bans and fines. I am curious to know what will happen to Ponting & Siddle at the end of this Test.
