Tit for tat
by Jay on Dec 27, 2010 01:06 AM  | Hide replies

My fellow Indians, team India will ALWAYS continue to struggle overseas. It's an unwritten law in world cricket. The same can be said of SA whenever they tour India. They struggle against our spinners on turning tracks. Their fast bowlers are useless on flat Indian highways. So it's a zig-zag affair. India are strong at home and SA are strong in their conditions. Nobody can change that and I suggest we as fans should accept Indian defeat even before ball one. Please use some common sense people... this very same group of guys especially the middle order of Sachin, Dravid, and Laxman have been useless in SA in their last 3 tours. How can we even expect them to shine this time around. The Indian team needs a BRAND NEW middle order. I don't care even if we keep losing with a young team but these 3 guys should graciously retire. Enough is enough !!!

Dhoni and Bhajji will score centuries
by Gurjot Singh on Dec 27, 2010 01:00 AM  | Hide replies

The worst is over. India will score 400 . Both Bhajji and Dhoni will have big innings. India will add 200 runs tomorrow. The match will result in indian victory.

Gurjot Singh you are not a pessimist at all. That is actually very good for success in life but it somehow does not bode well for this particular test match in progress because of this bouncy pith far better bolwers from South Africa than India.

ranking numebr 1.
by vinay on Dec 27, 2010 12:29 AM  | Hide replies

i think v achieved number 1 coz other opponents failed, like ausi downslide already had started before v defeated them in their own den. its not us performing good but others performing bad. that seems to b the reason v r again outplayed on genuine pitches.
okay v r a good team but not the best even now. only thing to worry is quality of ckt played by others hv fallen. sa pitches hv shown vulnerability of our battng.

We shud have a coach like Sir Imran Khan as he was and is the only allrounder in cricket, if BCCI requests him he will surely think of coaching,,,,,,

Sorry, yar. He was not the only great alrounder. Why did u forget Kapil Dev, the great Gary Sobers, Botham and Hardlee.

Vinay, sorry I cannot support you. I have high respect for Imran Khan. But whether it is Imran or Kapil or whoever, no need to call anybody sir. Let us be confident of our own abilities, that is my point.

Kapil was a better alrounder than Imran. He has scored more runs and taken more wickets (both in limited overs and Test matches) than Imran. Why do u forget the greatest alrounder of ur own country?

Sick people with childish comments...
by Rajib Paul on Dec 26, 2010 11:57 PM

Tera Baap comments: "India will score 500 & win the match, wait & watch".

I just laugh at the moment when I read it.
This people only has a view by heart, they don't have a mind to analyze or neither try to do that. At least they should check India's past 5 performance in Durban, before commenting... India is more over-hyped by media and we starting believing the same. India can only play Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and degraded New Zealand...that's all. Keep happy in our limit. That is the reality.

AustrialiA 98 all out must have been taken as an eye opener by us
by pravin sarode on Dec 26, 2010 10:47 PM

South AfricA match started at 2 IST but AustraliA Avalanche took place by 12 IST 98-10 still indians team and coach are blind enough to learn from AustraliA mistakes out side off stumps caught behind. Due to Satellite TV world has become small village we watch each other more carefully so i do not think indians did not watch ASHES today still they failed to the same deliveries out side off stump? Coach is sleeping or our players are ignoring his advice in his home nation? some thing is fishy & fixed
