its kind of jealousy in your comment. due to gambhir's injury sachin is going to open. Dont forget he is the no. 1 player & when everyone fails to play, sachin sticks & show them the way to play. Tingu is A seasonal player.
Murli Vijay performs well, then he should not be dropped. Rather Gambhir should be the stand in. Same for Pujara. If Pujara perfoms well, he should not be dropped on a flat track and let some flat track bully play
I feel Murali Vijai should be a permanent member of the team.His "On and Off" the playing Eleven is not a healthy sign . When Gambir is unfit, he is called abck.How can one expect him to perform all the times when he is not sure about his place in the team!!! More over a player's consistancy can be viewd based on the exposure what he gets and playing for a continuous innings!!! A player gets confidence and also adjust his play according to the situation, climatical condition,ground condition and other various governing factor. I feel the selectors have to think about this factor and act upon. If you see the past record of Gambir, he is always unfit when ever the team needs a player to save the series or match. Wghen the seniors like Dravid and others are able to play for a longer time with out much injury, why can't Gambir. there is some thing wrong with him, either his technuique or attitude!!!! It is a matter of concern for the team as well as to the nation!!!
No Surprise, this is the third instance during which Gambhir got injured, if you look at the past scenarios, Gambhir declares himself unfit against quality bowling attack and green top pitch. In the last match itself Gambhir agreed that as pitch was flat in the second innings, he could score runs. But all fools people will continue supporting him with a blind eye.
IF Gambhir had injured his hand in the first test itself then why the news is just coming now right before the start of second test. At that time itself Gambhir could have announced his unavailability for the second test. I am thinking something is happening within the team because of which they are coming up with this excuse at the last moment.

Gambhir doesn't have the technique and is afraid to face the short pitched balls. Now he gives the excuse of injury. He should be chucked out of the team along with that bajji friend of his. Harbhajan is a flop act right from the start.
this has become a routine for gambhir to become injured.. vijay should be made the permanent opener and gambhir should be made substitute and a standby...
also raina's poor form should find him a replacement...

Just think how many times this year Gambhir has injured himself. I would say its more of an excuse for his fear to face the bouncers and short-pitched deliveries.
