sachin and india
by john kannattu on Dec 25, 2010 01:11 PM  | Hide replies

I dont know who was sponsoring this sachin singing while our nation has been humiliated on cricket field. we had a very bad loss, but nobody mentioned a thing about it. our entire media was singing the praise of sachin. all these old cricketers are saying that sachin is the greatest. we also do not have any doubt, but now please focus on India. Kallis, ponting, lara are players with same calibre and almost same average.kallis is a fast bowler too who has taken 300 wickets in addition to the 57 batting average covering 150 tests, no mean achievemnent. But he is an ordinary cricketer for his country , a good sportsman, but sachin is God for India. We should refrain from this hero worship, otherwise our country will never prosper. best of luck to India. India media is like a mafia contgrolled by vested interests.

I agree with you Mr John. sachin 50 is great no doubt. On the 5th day morning, had sachin played for aiming another century with the company of tail enders and dragged the game for a draw, I would have really saluted him. whereas he simply watched the tail enders played and the match went in sa's way.

Ur right Murali....If he had not completed his Ton on 4th day, then surely he would have not allowed tail enders to maximum balls, rather he would have played himself more deliveries to reach his century.....Even a child can guess that he plays only for his records, one such Eg: CHENNAI TEST AGAINST PAK in 1999...

Good Observation but bad joke. Sachin don't need your recognition that is is greatest batsman and he played for country in every match and he is not playing cricket in his bed room like you.

3-0!
by Jaganniwas Iyer on Dec 25, 2010 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

Wiat for the 0-3! wwashout. Of course, the Indian media will be busy crowing about Sachin's greatness (not that anyone disputes it), with inane quotes from everyone and their aunt. Winning is not the Indian cricket bunch's job, a fact that even the celebrity-obsessed Indian public seems to have meekly accepted. I should be surprised if the result is anything else than 0-3.

Forget the media... its the team, who is playing there.. not the news channels... wrong theory... the fact is that Indian team was not well prepared for the first test,,, they dont have any practice match prior to the test.. condtions were difficult.. Sehwag played a reckless shot which was followed up by other batsmen.. and some superb bowling by KSA... which was followed upby poor bowling from india.. then the defeat was on the walls... and Sachins 50th ton and Dhonis 90 can prevent it... lets hope this time the same mistakes will not happen.. and india will give a better fight to claim again that they are not no 1 by chance..

Every cricketer praises for his own team and think of positiveness and speak about winning...Ur comment shows ur attitude of being jealous..He didn't approach media to brag but when media approached him and interviewed him, forced him to comment...WHAT DO U EXPECT?? SHOULD HE SAY THAT HIS TEAM IS WEAK AND THEY WILL LOOSE MATCH??? use ur brain, don't be jealous on others....

Pick the best 4 bowlers
by dhruv purohit on Dec 25, 2010 12:26 PM

I'm confident our team India shall win the 2nd test, but we should make a pont to select the best 4 bowlers in the X1.Bowlers should not be playing just for reputation prime ex: Harbhajan Singh. I fail when he won us a test match for his bowling in recent times.Even the fast bowlers look odinary. Zaheer is world class but he needs support. Ishant and Sreeshant need to pull their pace up bowling in mid 120s wont do any good. I hope Dhoni listens to me and we win this one cheers.

The series is already sealed 3-0 in favour of South Africa. Our team is just not good enough on lively wickets...they will all enjoy, party and comeback completely demoralised whci will also affect our chances in world cup.

After Sydney what happened in Perth
by talk cool on Dec 25, 2010 11:46 AM

Every one knows Perth is fast bowlers paradise. The bowl bounces very high there.
After Sydney test which India lost every one expected on Perth India will be finished in 3 days.
What happened there?
So I suggest India not to get worried about this crap and target for a win.

I guess we need to agree with Amla..for we do not have quality bowlers can take who 20 wickets in Test match...rest speaks by itself

This is the trouble with making predictions about something you don't really know.

India proved that not only can they take 20 wickets, they are the number 1 test team in the world because they deserve it.
