Rohit sharma for test matches
by thunderstorm on Dec 22, 2010 12:24 PM  | Hide replies

Rohit sharma is the correct man for test match cricket. He has extreme patience. He had to be preferred ahead of Raina. Until and unless selectors don't give them a chance in the series , he cannot prove his potential. I am sure he is quite better than suresh raina technically.

Pakis are gentlemen
by Murali Krishnan on Dec 22, 2010 11:24 AM  | Hide replies

Pakistan crickters are much gentlemen once they retire. See Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, Imran Khan even Javed Miandad. They analyze the game and cricketers well and behave well.

Yes, after getting his son married to Daud Ibrahim's daughter, Miandad has turned into a well respected, perfect gentleman! After all even Daud is considered a gentleman in Pakistan, so you can get a fair idea of their standards anyway.

Needs Investigating Muralitharan
by Rajesh Ratan on Dec 22, 2010 10:47 AM

would like to know if there was any fixing involved in Muralitharan only playing1st Test against India.puzzling.He was fit and contributing.Ifhe had played the last test SriLanka would have won. Bookers(99% indian ) for cricket just want India to win for money sake.Needs Investigation.

spot-fixing low
by Gurudutt kamath on Dec 22, 2010 10:14 AM  | Hide replies

It looks like India is in making a world record of sort, wherein Tendulkar's century or half century and the team looses the match. Comparable situations in world cricket to this magnitude to be studied to find reasons.

ODI team
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 22, 2010 10:06 AM  | Hide replies

Shrikant & Co did one more blunder in selection. Why useless Munaf has been selected again? Sreeshanth has been failing but he gets favour from selectors again and again. Srikkant does not like Karnataka players therefore Mithun and Vinay (No.1 & 2 pace bowlers in domestic cricket) were overlooked. One match wonder Yusuf is preferred over more talented Rohit Sharma. Selectors are ignoring future.

Rohit Sharma was a good batsman when he entered in to the international arena...I admit that he is a talented guy, but IPL's and money ruined that guy...Also, yusuf pathan is better than him at no 7.
