No test playing side has resource to challenge India
by Gurjot Singh on Dec 15, 2010 10:11 PM  | Hide replies

india's dominance in cricket will be permanent. No country has such a talent pool. BCCI has done a great job developing infrastructure of the game. No longer players are coming out only from large cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore or Delhi. They are coming from all nooks and corners of the country.
No country in the world has players of the caliber of Sachin, Sehwag, VVS, Dravid, Gambhir, Dhoni or Bhajji. There are very few with the aggressiveness of Sreesanth, smartness of ZK or guile of Bhajji. Even India's B team can beat a team like Australia on any day. India has attained permanent supremacy in cricket.

He also said he had sleepless 11 days when India has to face Pak in 2003 World Cup since it was about after some 4 years India playing them but he did exceptionally well, hope he is in right frame of Mind, 50th will be in his back of mind

yeah that is what worries me. But I am hoping he is not thinking about his 50th in this series. If it comes then comes if it doesn't then doesn't. There is always next time. Even his 40-90 might help

Let see how he plays. He might be just failing against NZ, we never know, He was total failure in NZ prior to 2003 WC but all of sudden he raised to the occasion in the WC, Hope for the same again

But it should be the team to play well now

You are right but still India have beaten 2-0 in last series. But it has been a while since India beat SA.

Ishant can do it
by Sports Lover on Dec 15, 2010 10:01 PM  | Hide replies

He has the pace to get wickets there. And can bowl at speed of 140 plus and in those chilly conditions he can.

That is bad. Rain was expected on first day though. Not a good start. We were all waiting for that first day's play.
