Even if India loses this series 0-3, the points of the both teams will be 123. Any other result than that will leave India with more points than SAf in ICC Test Rankings.
To the author of the caption: "No.1 spot at stake ......". Are you a South African? If not and if you are an Indian, YOU ARE NEGATIVE AND YOU ARE A PESSIMIST.

I think even if India losses this series they'll still remain number one. But then if they lose they cannot be called real number one.

Yes,even if we lose 3-0,we are still #1.We can be really proud of the title if we win at least 1-0.

Your Question should be 'To which team' and it is obvious I meant South Africa. But there is an "IF" there.

How can you condemn somebody who has bowled his heart out on dead pitches.Just have a flashback of how well he bowled in the last two tests.

He has bowled well in last few test matches. I expect him to do well in SA. But lets see.
India must try rookie fast bowler yadav and the other leftarmer along with Ishant and Sreesanth. Spinners a real waste in S African condition. Sehwag and Raina can try Offspinners.
Final frontier is a bit of exaggeration, I believe. We are yet to win in Australia, we lost the last series thanks to Dr Bucknor. And we are yet to win in Sri Lanka as well. However, India is going to S.Africa with one of their best teams so India should win and justify their #1 Test rankings. By the way, if Zaheer Khan does not play tomorrow, then the selectors are to be scre_wed who included him in the team for the last 3 ODIs against NZ.

That was few days ago. Perhaps he is fit if not then that left arm bowler Jaidev should play.

The headline in cricinfo has appeared just now and they will take a final call tomorrow.
