He can chase Sachin
by Michael DSa on Dec 13, 2010 07:05 PM

He can chase Sachin's test record hundreds, only if he gives up captaincy and focus on his game. Just the way Sachin did many years back. Who can make this idiot understand. Otherwise this guy is a consistent machine....give p the top job boss !

He is a great batsman but not sure about his captaincy. He has captained a side which any one can and wouuld have won with same ease. The time is now for him to show some cap skills if has any.

No doubt he is an icon and one of the all time greats. But he is past his prime and now no more the destructive batsman he was in his prime.

It is best he opts out of captaincy and focus on batting alone.

Yeah, Sachin started doing well after he dumped the captaincy crown. It is basically a crown of thorns, good only when u have a great team under u

AUSTRALIA IS NOT INDIA
by ADOLF HITLER on Dec 12, 2010 09:03 AM

Don't worry Ricky. If u don't perform no matter how good ur past record is ur selector will kick u out. ur no doubt a great fighter but a bad loser.

moreover ur country is not India where anyone can stick in the playing XI just bcoz of his past records.

No thought of quitting???
by Wonder Fool on Dec 11, 2010 09:39 PM  | Hide replies

But CA(Cricket Australia) may have other thoughts...Even Steve Waugh didnot think of quitting ODI's and was hoping against the hope till the last moment to be a part of World Cup squad of 2003. But that never happened.

So Ponting Baba....no one knows what is in store for you after World Cup...

Things have changed buddy!!

Australia are not potent any more. Infact they are not able to find replacements.

S.Waugh's case was different. During those times Australia had three sides which could beat any team in the world.
