Real compitition is between Kohli and Gambhir for the 1st down position in the world cup. Gambhir needs to be more consistent for his place.

Murali Vijay in the team because of K Srikanth. He is no way in comparison with Gambhir.

vortex, i agree with you completely. good that sachin is not in the team. he is not resting he is busy in signing endorsements.
bcci certainly should look in such matters...
if sachin was in the team he would have taken credit for winning these 3 matches single handedly without any contribution from other 10 players.

What big occasions? WC2003 Final, then? Don't bring up the 2007 WC, it wasn't a big occasion. India were knowcked out of that WC in early stages, that's it.
So what other big occasions other than the 2003 WC Final?

truly cricket is rotten..now in ipl..they will drop dada and dravid from icon status and pick them up in 2nd bid...cost cutting..but need them to bring in the crowds...
