It has been a comprehensive win for India. Good to see Gambhir back in good form. Hope he continues it in the world cup as well. It would have been good if Yusuf Pathan was sent in place of Kohli. If Pathan clicked, then it would have been a bonus for India and would have resolved the pinch hitter/allrounder slot for India. Hope he gets those chances in the next two matches. With that, India would have the best batting line up for the world cup, which includes Sachin, Sehwag, gambhir, kohli, Yuvraj and Pathan/Raina. On the bowing front, its upto the bowlers to maintain their fitness, play to their potential and thats what is needed for the worldcup. Zaheer, Praveen, Sreesanth, Munaf and Ishant look dangerous enough, though all of them may not play.

Needs to improve on bowling & fielding. India losing almost 20-25 runs on fielding & another similars runs on running between the wickets. If these two r taken care, India will be a force to reckon with in ODIs.

After all these wins in inconsequential and irrelevant bilateral series and tri nations, we will make first round exit in major icc tournaments. so wats the point in playing these matches. Ofcourse there is a marketing thing behind all these. But from cricketing point of view, there is nothing to rejoice. We don't have a good bowling attack and until and unless we have a potent attack, we are never going to pose any serious challenge to our opponents. It is sad that, even after having a great batting line up, in all forms of the game, we are not able to make full use of it bcoz of our average or even below average bowling attack. Many of the members who are likely to play in the coming world cup were part of the 2007 WC debacle. That is something unique to us. Every other counrty would have made sea changes to their sides, if they perform badly in world cups.
