Naturally. Sangakkara was let off easy by Dharmasena without a fine for colliding with a Kiwi player. Also matches being played in Lanka players from Sri Lanka are shown preferential treatment. OZ's are the right people for these thugs from Lanka.

i agree ..we need a solid player like dravid who knows to play 50 over...not these chindi plyaers who cant play even 5 overs each
Its wrong to fine player for dissent when he is not satisfied at the decision. The umpire is no God and he makes several wrong decisions. And a wrong decision against a new player like Kohli could kill his career.
Cricket was fun 20-25 years back when players had the liberty to criticize umpires, playing conditions. But ICC rules and over commercialization of cricket has taken the punch out of the game and players have been reduced to be mechanical robots on the field.The captain can not criticize wrong umpiring decisions because he may lose his career over this.
BCCI has been victim of its own game plan, as they rejected DRS.

If you are thinking that Kohli is the first new player since the game of cricket was invented; or that he is the first human being to get a wrong decision, or the first human cricketer to be fined for showing dissent; then I must sadly correct all those mistaken beliefs of yours... :)
Given that you've followed cricket all this while, I can't even say to you "wake up now"... :)
I support this decision, Kohli should have walked when he was given out. But, at the same time, Tournament Officials should remove Dharmasena as umpire in the final. Otherwise it will be 12 Sri Lankans vs. 11 Indians.

Sorry but most of u all guys r ignorant abt the topic of DRS in the current series n most India series.
Indian players want HOT SPOT TECHNOLOGY to b part of the decision making process of DRS.(Due to their bad experience in the test series in SRI LANKA last year where it lost only bcoz of poor decision making inspite of DRS)
But our so so poor cricket board(!!!) is against it as it wil hav to shell out 75 lakhs of Rupees per series 4 the HOT SPOT to b used.

You are right. Considering that the whole world is against Indian cricket players, the finals should be played without any umpires.... (even Indian umpires - believe it or not - are against Indian cricket players coz they ARE a part of the world outside of the Indian cricket players... ) :)
Its true that Team India now Facing the much more struglling about their batting except sehwag.. i hope Team India do well in Final & One more Time Dhoni will think about Karthikk & Rohit Sharma becoz they are not in Form insted he would hv pick Tiwari, Kohli for this Crucial match my best wishesh for Team India
what is the penalty for th eumpires who gives wrong decision? such umpires should also be fined 50% of their match fees. This will make umpires giving more correct decision. Moreover i think srilankan umpires are the worst in the world e.g. ashoka de silva and kumar dharmasena.
