what an bias article
by chaddi baniyan on Aug 23, 2010 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

shame only an indian can with their narrow minded mentality can put such arguments. When Malinga wide ball Tendulkar was on other end? and in infact he still had chance in previous over where he just settled for single and other batsmen had hit a six, so who to blame??
Gavaskar was known to be selfish cricketer and this episode only support that argument, well even if he had required 20 odd runs to reach his century surely he would have taken 1 more hour for that, so why to waste 1 hour watching resultless game. Gundappa! I dont understand if he was on 75 then whats the big deal???

who is the best captain..or captian material in Indian team..? yesterday the team got out so cheaply largely due to umpiring blunders..the lankans were repeatedly appealing for no reason and the sri lankan umpire fell to their pressure tactics..kaarthik,shevag, raina were given out for no reason. (Raina was out earlier, but benefit of doubt was given) your anger is not out of place but you should also suggest a good replacement for Dhoni instead of simply criticising him...

BCCI was depending on MS DHONI very much and not given a single chance to talented guys to work like vice captain of the team except Virender Sehwag.. They have sacked RAHUL DRAVID for no reason...BCCI spoiled India's name...

You have not seen worse captain than Dhoni in your whole cricket life? are you a reputed cricketer? I don't think so as your knowledge about cricket is very raw. Dhoni has not lost any series outside India in last four years, Do you know this? He is so far the best captain India had. Ganguly has only split the team and not generated it. You call media as brainless. I accept your comment because anyone with brain would not have published your views on this page.

What do you think Dhoni should do, exchange those 200 crores for a win ? Well that's the job of BCCI to do.
Dont worry, BCCI will do its job, and India will win the next game, and 'enter the finals' yet another time .. He He ..

Dont take tension yaar .... finish today's testing assignment ;)

the cricket team does not need the BCCI largesse to win any games, our boys are well equipped for that, but of course you can't win all games

Everyone who praise Dhoni should know one fact that he is manipulating the things. Look at his records, whenever the team is in dire need, he fails miserably. If the pitch is flacid and the opening batsmen gives a good start, he promotes himself up the order. On the other hand, if the pitch is favourable for the bowler, he hides behind Yuvraj, Raina etc... to safeguard his average. Those who claim that he is the best captain of Indian Team should not forget that the one or the other 10 Indian players performed well to win for India.
