England started doing well only after non-english players like Peterson, Morgan, Keiswitter, joined the team. They brought sanity to the otherwise rotting english mentality. English mentality can't just tolerate the way Cricket is played these days. They cant believe that cricket, which was their invention and gift to the world, would be played so cruelly, as it is these days.

no chance for england...batting line up of england is poor..(only Peterson)bowling is average..then how?? so stop dreaming and if u r day dreamer then its ok...
I have heard similiar statments about english team few years back..apparently, things never change for them. Atleast they are not claiming that they are world's best rightnow..which we Indians often do boastfully.

Liston to their media and their fans, they started claiming England as the best until they dropped against Paki.
We Indian can claim because we're #1 in Test right now and I am very proud of it atleast..

Wow! your comments imply that everyone in the selection committee, cricket board, players in the team such as Dravid, Sehwag are fools and biggest of them would be Sachin who recommended Dhoni to captaincy must be fools and you are the only one who could see things which others' can't.

SACHIN / DRAVID / SEHWAG are not fools...It is not SACHIN's mistake..DHONI is useless thats what I wanted to tell..thats it.
An analysis of the history of cricket shows that only two countries out of the 10-12 countries win consistently.Countries like India,Srilanka,Pakistan are inconsistent.They win one,loose the next. Under the leadership of Dhoni,initially there was hope of coming out of this morass.But later it became clear that it is not so.Dhoni alone cannot do much with many non-performers in the team. Hence the hierarchy in cricket is as below an will remain the same in future too.
First rate cricket playing countries:1.Australia 2.South Africa. Second rate cricket playing countries:1.India 2.England 3.Srilanka 4.Pakistan .5.New Zealand .6.West indies. Third rate cricket playing countries:Bangladesh ,Zimbabwe,etc.
Hence there is not much competition in cricket making it dull.The aussies reign kings for all time.

Dont agree with you. most of the cricket nation had a time when there supremacy is unquestionable. in 1970 - 80 west indians are best before that australia, England. Look at australia they look undefeated in earlier time of this decade. but they are inconsistent now adays. But you never put your money on India or pakistan
