Why are we whinging and whining? A batsman shouldn't expect cooperation froma bowler, for heaven's sake. This is a triangular tournament. Sri Lanka are bottom of the table, because they conceded a bonus point. The runrate could be crucial, and he saved six. What do you want the bowler to do - give away runs?
Sri Lankan players were never fair. Murali chucks big time, since the Asian lobby is strong, ICC could not do anything but the fact is Murali chucks. Got 800 wickets illegally, so today's affair is no different. It's part of the game. That's why whatever Australia does, will never become West Indies. Randiv is a player and NOT sportsman.

no its not. if everyone were to do it, the spirit of the game would die. its not a fair view of opposition
the spirit of the game violated? Sadly, Cricket is no more a gentleman game--accept it or not.
No doubt, it was wrong to bowl no ball deliberately.
But this is not the first of its kind when the spirit of the game has been violated...have you not seen captains using negative tactics to stop the flow of the runs?
So the question is which is a bigger vice considering the spirit of the game.
If you all are true cricket fans and care about sportsmanship, raise your voices whenever the spirit of the game is violated. Stop being partial.

and the gentleman's game was very, very boring. most you were perhaps not born yet, then, but I do remember Nadkarni's 21-21-0-0 spell in Chennai against MJK Smith's England in 1964. What an absolute bore! Can you believe 21 overs without a single run? 20/20 does not even last that long!

dumbo at least we have won a test series in ur home but ur team still to win a test in india forget the series.lol
Unless the cricket boards take urgent and punitive steps such incidents will always happen. Sri Lankan board always tries to hide things under the carpet. This country produces the largest number of chuckers in the world as no serious corrective measures were taken early on in their history.
