I just have one question to all those who say SL did fair. How would it have been had indian's deprived murali of 800th wicket by deliberatley getting hit-wicket to other bowler or inducing a run out . DO you think that was fair enough to do. Sangakarra would have probably gone on indefinite hunger fast saying that it was foul on india part. Now if sehwag , who was deprived of a well deserved century says the no ball is deliberate, does that sound ridiculous? No...not an ounce. Does any sane bowler bowl a delivery with his backfoot at the place where his front foot shoul've been? Forget abt whether sehwag knows the rule or randiv knows, no one , no one i repeat in their sane mind bowls a delivery like that. Its shame on Randiv and X,X who advised him to do so.... copy-pasted comments from pranay_bangalore

You have hit upon the right aspect here. The ONLY reason why Randiv apologised is because of IPL Only. But for the commercial interest, he would have cared two hoots about what Sehwag or in general India feels about his treacherous act!! These guys are greedy in addition to being treacherous!!

I am sure that IPL frenchies will think twice b4 picking up Randiv in their team, as he is the one of the cheap cricketer
Randiv was unaware of the idea of bowling a no-ball till Sangakkara and other fielders goaded him into doing it. This should not be surprising for those who know Lankans. A careful study of the Lankan story will reveal an abnormal amount of treachery, backstabbing, fratricide, matricide, patricide, etc. They carry the genes of cruelty, killing, treachery, what we may call in general "rakshasa" nature. Many Indians do not know except the few who tried to make it their home for the last 300 years or so. If LTTE was born and became such a deadly counterattacking force, it was because of sheer compulsion. How do you live alongside such cruel, bestial beings (not sure if they are human really?)

One day or the other Lanka will backstab India. They collude with Pakistan and China. In fact, when America was inimical to India, Sri Lanka played alongside and have always been professing their closeness to Pakistan! They will be happy to provide China a naval or airbase when China becomes aggressive enough to have territorial ambitions.. The day is not far really!
THAT WAS PURE EXAMPLE OF CHEAP CRICKET BY S.RANDIV, K. SANGAKARA AND OFCOURSE SRILANKAN TEAM THINKING. AT THE STAR OF OVER, THEY DECIDED THAT SHEWAG COULD NOT COMPLETE HIS CENTURY, AS RANDIV STARTED WITH WIDE. IT IS HABIT OF SRILANKA CRICKET TEAM, EARLIER THEY HAVE DONE THE SAME THING WITH TENDULKAR, WHEN TENDULKAR WAS ON 96 AND MALINGA BOWLED HUGE WIDE WITH BOUNDRY.

remember long ago we used to fight in cricket forum..with another guy:)rajaram???
Why Sehwag and India didnot get run hited on Last NO BALL? As per my knowledge team and batsman get run hitted on NO BAll along with 1 extra run of NO ball. Then why yesterday India got only 1 run of no ball, what happened to that 6 hitted by sehwag on NO BaLL?

Yes, there is something wrong here. The ball got counted as a ball faced by the batsman, but not the run. ICC has to amend its rules.

Because the match is over after the no ball was called. So the six and the next free hit dont count.

As per cricket rules that when 1 run is required to win the match and if the no-ball is bowled then the batting wins on the basis of that invalid ball and the runs hit by the batsman is not counted. Hence, shewag stayed in 99 as india won by virtue of the no-ball and the six is not counted.

In cricket whichever will take first will count first then other things later. As the "NO" ball came first and that time Indid was needing only one run, that eneded the match ultimately. So the after hit six won't count.
ban him from international cricket and IPL. He is a dirtty individual. What he has done in Delhi ODI when his team lost 5 wickets for 30 runs?? Complained abt pitch. ?? When SL won test match at Galle- He quesyioned the ranking system. At the end of test series- he said that SL is the superior test team( even losing badly yo India) Yesterdays match he himself left the ball for 4 byes and asked Randiv to bowl no ball. Shame on u- what a filthy captain ur?? Ban him from all forms of the game. Long live Viru.
