SL captain Sangakkara should have thought a lakh times before uttering the statement that "he was unaware of the rules". Being a captain of an international team, not only in cricket, but in each and every field, one should be, and is expected to be, aware of the rules and conditions, especially under close and tense situations. Such irresposible statement by the SL captain to prove his innocence, is a boomerang to prove that the Lankans played foul deliberately to deny Sehwag his well-deserved century.
Disgraceful act by Sri Lanka in denying Sehwag a well-deserved century. A blanket ban on Sri Lankan cricketers should be made from playing in IPL until the Sri Lankan Board and their Captain tender an apology.

randiv is just the arrow aimed by sanga. sanga is pathetic loser unable to digest others success.

uthappa IS only 27. He can't face good bowling attack like karthik. uthappa is only suited for flat track

he played really well in australia..those r bouncy tracks..he even won a match against england in england when india was chasing 316 he single handedly won that match in english conditions..hw many matches has kartik won for india
Re: Re: no uthappa

uthappa average is only 27.10. he can play only in flat track. Dinesh karthick average in last one year is 35.5
I faintly remember, long back, Courtney Walsh was bowling to restrict India, very few runs away from victory, probably in the last over. The Indian runner excitedly stepped way ahead the bowling crease, still Walsh to bowl. Walsh fakes a delivery and holds the ball to run out the batsman. That surely would have ensured WI's win.
But he smiles and walks back to start a fresh bowling. WI lost that match. We had seen a new HERO and talked a lot about Walsh instead of a rare Indian victory!
and here Suraj Randiv grown up with a different mentality.. I didnt want to say this, but he proves his genes.. Mr. Suraj Mohammad Kalahalmulla !!!

True,I remember the incident..Walsh was a terrific fast bowler and a great inspiration to youngsters with his spirit and fairplay. No one can blame Walsh for the quality of his bowling or the manner in which he achieved his wickets. he never sledged, abused, glared or talked smack to any batsmen. His bowling and his intensity did all his work for him.Tendulkar himself rates walsh as a great bowler.True sportsman, great gestures and a fantastic role model for budding cricketers around the world. We need more role models like Walsh,Kapil,Anil Kumble, wasim akram, donald and even a genial Mcdermott and less of prima donnas like sreesanth, shoaib akhtar, warne, mcgrath and flintoff.

One of the best sportsmanship that I have ever witnessed was on Friday - October 16th 1987 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore by Courtney Walsh...
It was Abdul Qadir, who was supposed to be runout by Walsh...
SreeLan are known for it. they denied Ganguly a century in a test match. Ganguly was on 98 and the bowler bowled full toss to Kaif on the leg side. Kaif had to play the ball and ball reached boundary. Very unsportive team.
One more incidence is SreeLan umpire called off a match when India is routing SreeLan. It is rain curtailed match and SreeLan is losing. The m0r0n umpire stopped the play. Robin singh batted and bowled well in that match.
Now the latest is denying sehwag a 100. what a pathetic loser team it is.
If Sanga had the guts he should admitted that he asked Randiv to deliberately bowl a no-ball to deny Sehwag a century..instead he pretended in front of Tony Greig, falsely praising Sehwag...SriLankans should learn sportmanship and right attitude from Sehwag..what a man and what a reply..it is fair enough..it happens in cricket...
UglyLankans..but in a way it is positive as they are really scared of Sehwag..they will p!ss in their pants the next time he gets going..watch out Sanga
Rohit Sharma-29.97 Dinesh karthik-29.33 Dinesh karthik better in any slot. Hw play well new ball also. Rohit sharma hit 2 century tus why is average goes to 22.0. Dinesh karthik better consistant batsman.
Even in bounce pith dinesh karthik better than raina, kholi, rohit sharma
Re: Dinesh karthik better batsman than rohit sharma
by Sagar Jain on Aug 16, 2010 11:15 PM
Do you really think a bats man with a ave. of 29 is good batsman, strange
Kartik and Ashwin in Team because of Srikant. Anybody knows when Srikant's term will end?? I think he is shamelessly selecting Kartik with only 29 average in about 50 games. What a shame! There are other players who are better than this guy. I hope all Tambi's will raise up :)

When K. Srikkanth dies, I reckon. It is a surprise he has not included his son, Aniruddha in India team.

rohit sharma average is only 29. If u ignore 2 century from rohit sharma. This is average is only 22. Karthik seems to be more consistent batsman than rohit sharma.
Even he is better than kholi, rohit sharma, raina is bounce condition
Re: When Srikant's term will end??
by Sports Lover on Aug 16, 2010 11:13 PM
If he was playing as a wicket keeper then it might have been okay for him to have avg of 29. But he is playing as a specialist batsman.

Why you only point to karthik. What about rohit sharma. robin uttaph average is 27. if uttaph played today. He will out on first ball itself

jagdish-garu, Yuvraj is also in team because of Srikant so Srikant must be a punjabi! Get out of your narrow-mindedness, reddy-garu.

Tambi Kartik is playing in place of Tendulkar. I think Tambi Srikant can pick up someone better than him. Answer to the point Tambi Sri(I think you are Tambi Srikant :) )
