Yuvraj is now after Dhobi's wife Sakshi. I guess Dhobi is mad at Yuraj so he dropped Yuvraj from test team and may even drop Yuvi from ODI team. ha ha ha.

I am sure R, Jadeja will be in World Cup Squad
by Oye Kake on Aug 15, 2010 07:44 PM  | Hide replies

What a player R jadeja is... he stands when every body fails to deliver..
When no body in team makes 15 runs he makes his highest 20. When no bowler takes wicket he takea couple of wicket.
When no boundaries comes in last 10 overs he hits the boundary after lot of effort in the last over; who cares about winning...its an effort that should be appreciated.

Thats what our selectors are doing; they see that jadeja is very hard working so what he cant perform; after all we have shortage of players...

The fastest bowler who represented our country for a long time was Anil Kumble. Now he has hung his boot. May be a new one will emerge from Karnataka.

i will name some.

Brett Lee (over 160)
Shoaib Chuckthar
Shaun Tait (over 160)
Mitchell Johnson
Dale Steyn
Mohammed Aamir (not yet, but he definately can get there later on.)
Doug Bollinger
Steven Flinn (new kid in ENG cricket team)

there are many more, but these are to name a few. Now how the h*ll can Indian not produce one genuine pace bowler who can reach up to 150 kph or even 145 kph?

but our indian bowlers are so slow that they can't even reach 140 kph. Let's forget 150 kph, how about reaching 140 kph. Its a real shame that we don't have a single bowler reaching at least 140-145 kph.

Ishant was successful in breaking the record just a week after he got close to it, versus Australia in Melbourne on February 17, 2008. His fastest ball was 153.0 km/h (95.1 mph) and he constantly clocked around that 152 km/h mark.[11]

And then Ishant went to MRF pace academy a conspiracy by Dennis Lili to curb Indian fast bowlers. Ishant got tips to work on his line and lenght and he sacrificed his pace and today stand no where then an ordinary bowler. Same happens with every new talent.

This is the day I was expecting. Sachin Ten was nominated as captain but not even single batsman playing for the country and they were playing for bookies. now dhoni does not have good players and lets see how he manages. still sachin played pretty good his knock single handed against aussies, lets see how dhoni plays.

Jadeja in playing xi???

Cricinfo preview names Jadeja in probable playing xi...is this a reliable indicator? If so,who is his godfather? It seems the captain does not decide on the playing xi by himself. I believe the selectors also get involved?

I dont know why Jadeja is getting so many chances who never seems to be either a good bowler nor a good striker... Probably this many chances given to Uthappa or Irfan Pathan could have fetched better result.

finally some honesty from sameer.

sameer that IS the plain truth. sachin won MOM/MOS riding piggyback on the shoulders of other players, the indian bowlers and the indian batsmen

just go through the scorecards where sachin has been man of match and you will see the truth about how much others have performed in those matches.

For example I would like to point out the following stats.

Fact: Tendulkar has scored 17 tons while chasing a huge score & india has won 15 times ( unbelievable 88 %).some of his most popular innings while chasing , the one against aus in WB series downunder & the one in sharjah , the innings against pakistan in wc,

The following are the 17 huge scores that india chased and sachin got those 17 100s.

I whole heartedly agree with you. You are right, the world is wrong.
After all the validity of statements from cricketing greats can be safely discarded, since they don't understand cricket and the pressure being the the middle.

You on the other hand have been gifted with this ability and hence you can deduce right ?
