Agreed it is not a blow! but a boon for the other youngsters to perform. But do hope for a speedy recovery for yuvraj
Since Indian players are complaining of excessive cricket, the BCCI SHOULD ROTATE THE PLAYERS and consider fielding THREE DIFFERENT TEAMS before the world cup to avoid player burnout! And one possible way is to balance the three teams and try and hope the young guns come good together with the experienced players before the final squad is picked for the world cup 2011.

I dont think that might be the case. Dhoni cannot single handedly take decisions to keep him away, it is because of the bunch of jokers in the selector Srikanth (I cant believe, he was a nice cricketer), Narendra Hirwani (does he know cricket other than 16 wicket haul match?)

good idea but you need Sehwag and Tendulkar on the same team at least. If opponent see SRT and Sehwag opening the opponent will be scared right from beginning.

Indian cricket would have been great if the selectors thought like you, appreciate your time and effort, nice try !!
now he can play next series without performance...and deserving players like uthappa,irfan,rayudu will remain in queue forever...nice strategy to remain available for wc without performance
