I do not know why selectors are constantly ignoring Irfan Pathan. He is truly a match-winner.

yeah i know , he is a match winner as displayed by the stats in cricinfo. I would have been more than happy if he could have been a good bowler, but he is a below avg bolwer and below avg batsman

sameer, what is your problem? just because dhoni had physical relationship with your mother, sister, daughter, wife you are behaving like this? jealous because though senior sachin did not get the chance to do it first?
@sameer, nobody is doubting your manhood. but you are sure having a lot of problems because of dhoni.
I believe if India have to win the 2011 world cup 2 positions would be very vital in the playing 11. Number 4 and Number 7. Ideally India's Number 4 should be Yuvraj Singh and Number 7 should be Irfan Pathan. Both genuine match winners. Irfan is the best Number 7 India can get in the 11. Put confidence is his bowling and he shall do wonders. I hope the selectors and captain listen to me advice.

Yuvraj singh is woefully out of form. Irfan with his 115 kmph deliveries won't do us any good. Even gary kirsten belives that the role of an allrounder is not to bowl 115kmph and hold one end up.
Ravindra Jadeja is slightly below average , but he is still in the team because in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.
Dhoni's view is correct in connection with rotation. At the same time we have got so many very very better wicket keepers also in India. So this policy is to be needed wicket keepers as well.
we dont need changes in the team, what we need is change in the attitude..guru greg was trying to impart exactly this, which didnt go well with players of teh stature of sachin...poor greg, he was highlighted negatively in the media..an australian work ethic was much needed to raise our standards..for ex, he wanted the players to have a strenuous work out in the gym very early in the morning, for which the entire indian team except the ever obedient dravid and also dhoni didnt accept and hence they came out openly and said greg is trying to split the team etc...so, as long as one doesnt want to change for their own good, we cant expect to win wc...
