He should be given a chance!
by sandeep kumar on Apr 27, 2010 05:51 PM  | Hide replies

For all those shouting for his removal, let me list down his achievements:
1) Created a 4 billion league within 3 years, better than EPl or NBA. WHich proves that IPL is the best league in the world, as compared to the overhyped EPL.
2) Created a window for the best players to come in during march april, when most of them are on tour
3) Within 48 hours moved ipl 2 from one continent to another. whereas malcolm speed and gray couldnt even handle world cup 2007 properly within one country
4) Introduced revolutionary things like strategic time out and cheergirls, which brough new dimension to the game of cricket
5)Ensured matches were played at night, thus even office goers could watch. That showed he took every single 1.2 billion indians interest into account.
6) Now even females follow cricket, thanks to ipl.
7) Young cricketers are now getting chance to spend more, than when they used to play ranji

I think he'll come out of this and I support him in this. Already, i am waiting for IPL4 and only Modi can deliver.

Cheergirls are for after game late night parties what is the big thing he brought I dont understand.
Withing 48 hours he moved it to South Africa so that he can directly move the money to tax havens without Indian govt or tax agencies knowing anything; meaning he swindled in the South African cricket fans. If he did not move withing 48 hours probably Indian govt would have provided security. He was afraid that it would be provided and moved using that as an opportunity.

If it is entirely due to him, then why did he tell in the final speech that all decisions were taken jointly by the governing council members. It was just to escape individual responsibility when his misdemeanors became public.

my
IPL Scam is HISTORY!!!
by my on Apr 27, 2010 05:48 PM

IPL opened the flood gates of Black Money, Underworld, Politics and Lady connections!! All political parties are party to this business!! Some personalalities are lucky enough to be noticed by the media and the public!! Their investments in IPL run into a few thoudands of crores!!! Where is this money coming from!! Who are these ppl!!

Now, before exposed, all these parties jointly took a decision!! They found out another problem and made it bigger than IPL!!! They found PHONE TAPING!!! Actually speaking, it does not affect the common ppl much!! Because the political ppl's secret affairs and business in the dark being exposed only these political frauds will be affected NOT THE COMMON MAN!!! Why are they blocking the proceedings of the LS?? This is a drama. They will bring a tempest to the LS and make sure NOBODY IS DISCUSSING ABOUT IPL ANY MORE!! That will be funeral phase of IPL issues!! Telephone taping - INDIA'S WATERGATE - will stay only for a couple of days!! There will be an enquiry and if needed it will be extended for a prolonged time period and that event will disappear like a bubble burst!! Then IPL case as well as Phone Taping etc. will be history!! To the political corrupts, it is going to be a WIN-WIN situation!! Our political icons are smarter than us!! They know how to steal all the money, make the country bankrupt and become our great leaders of all time!!! We, voters have no choice than to vote them to power again and again!!!

Mr. Lowda (oops) Gowda suresh:
Looks like only you have the right to comment on the article. What Karuna pointed out is about Modi (ex IPL) becoz of the recent news about his lootings. Comment on the topic not on irrelevant subs. Ofcourse you may not understand all these.

No man. it does not end here. Sharad Pawar is yet to adorn the chair of ICC chief. Prafull patel has to look after football. As far as country is concerned it has been like this for thousands of years and will remain and flourish.Amen. Ruled and ruiend by invaders for years it still has the potential to be milked by these politicians.
