How about Modi joining hands with Kapil and support ICL? If he just want to make money through cricket, this is another option for him.

WHY ARE WE PRETENDING TO BE SURPRISED
by such jano on Apr 27, 2010 12:17 AM  | Hide replies

Are not we all inherently a corrupt and dishonest society?

Why do we all become extremely honest and man and integrity in public when in private we all are thieves.

Lets just move on, at least the show is good, IPL is great, pride of india. Modi made some money now lets have someone else make some but the show must go on and improve.

If you want to remove corruption that start it from PM office, all govt office, hospitals where blood or poor people is sucked by corrupt criminals. How many corrupt doctors, politicians you have punished till date?

IPL has created enormous business opportunities, right from hospitality industry, tourism and list goes endless and many odrinary people are employed in this whole process.

Modi is corrupt but is he the only one? IPL needs modi for few more years if this product got to survive.

corruption is a part of indian systems, we do have valid provisions for this in all our systems. My pledge wont change anything, we have to be pragmatic, corruption will never go, unless some dictator takes over and order shooting all corrupt criminals. Fact of the matter is corruption in IPL does not such poor people blood, but one in PDS, education, health does, so fix it there first, if you have guts.

its a pity that you can even support a corrupt like modi so that ipl can stay on. just shows how corrupt you would have been if you were in any big govt post.

Its easy to claim you are honest and others are corrupt as claims never have any identity. You have to see reality, i am only trying to support IPL, which is a great product and unlike many others does not harm any ordinary person only benefit him, if any.

The time it robs out of the people (making them watch matches that are probably fixed already), the money of the tickets etc? don't you think this is important at all?

Politician se Panga Karega To Aisa Hi Hoga
by Cool ChandraThakur on Apr 27, 2010 12:09 AM

Name ANY money making venture & you will see Politicians swarming on it like flies on sugar.

We live @ mercy of their gangs not in a Democracy.
Be it BCCI OR Tirupati Devsthanam OR Sai Baba Mandir. Where there is money, you will find these Dirtbag politicians.

Modi's fault is that he built a huge money-spinning venture in such a short time & then tried to run it professionally.

He is lucky he was allowed to run it for 3 years.

But what was he thinking when he tweeted against Tharoor.
Mr Modi, Tharoor is a ruling Party minister AND close to the Nehruu Pariwars Queen Sonnia

You took on powerful ppl. Income Tax raids, and suspension was bound to happen.
Remeber even Amitabh was questioned in hospital by IncomeTax Dept. (And he is not even emplyed by a Politician controlled body)

Next time you pick a fight, make sure they have no connection to the Empress & her family.
Even if they walk Sonnia/Rahuuls dogs in the morning & pick their droppings, they are too powerful.
So remeber No Pangas with Politicians AND absolutely no Pangas with the Empresses family.

Jai Ho

Lalit Modi
by RAKESH JAIN on Apr 27, 2010 12:05 AM  | Hide replies

A victim of BCCI high politics.

A man who was the creator of IPL, and who brought IPL fame Worldwide in a positive way.

After 5 years, when everything came in shape to manage, the creator was thrown.

This is a very shameful act of BCCI. BCCI was shocked to see the positive results of IPL and the positive publicity Modi got. The Bigwigs may not have got their complete financial share in the two new teams of Kochi and Pune.

BCCI should have rewarded Lalit Modi but they did what was not expected from Sharad Pawar. It is web made by Sharad and group.

Indian politics will never come to the expectations of common man.

A Grieved common man
Rakesh

A person or a group cannot just throw someone based on some allegations. Its clear from the investigations that Modi was involved directly or indirectly in illegal finance issues. And fair enough, he should suffer for what he did. You dont have to be a grieved common man since he was eating your money too. So wake up and see the light.
