I had predicted that CSK will win as sachin doesn’t have luck in winning major tournaments. The moment i knew sahcin was playing I was v happy as Mumbai would loose.

Sachin had an in-form team. that's why Mumbai won most of its matches. They ran out of ideas in the final. Also they had peaked at the wrong time; there was always a chance that they would fail in the knockout stage of the tournament. It needed something special, which they could not. Of course, there is always the possibility of match fixing, which is a whole different ball game!

I dont think it has any thing to do with luck..its about leader ship..
Compare the decisions made by ST and MSD, compare their body languages, compare their respect for team members, compare how they carry themselves off..
You need to have some thing more than good batsmanship to be a good leader..
This is the final nail in the coffin on sachins captaincy..

Forget captaincy sachins presence in major tournaments has most of the times resulted in India not winning. If he was there in T20 world cup I’m sure we would not win.

This is common factor, that everyone knowss... Sachin is good player but not a good captain.. can't take any team to final wins...

Mumbai were the hot bot; but somehow chennai got to top. Is it by playing or match fixing?

CSK rocks... Sachin Disappoints !!
by raj on Apr 26, 2010 01:57 AM  | Hide replies

Congrats to the csk team... its a complete ateam effort and not any one man show !! They deserve it.. csk ku whistlea podu !! :-)

Hats-off to Sachin for playing the game inspite of his finger injury. But really disappointed when his caught behind was turned down. Being a gentleman he should ve walked without waiting for the umpire. He ve done it in the past wen playing for India. That shows how badly he wanted to win for Mumbai than for India !! But who cares....

CSK rocks !!

Sachin never walks.
When he can celebrate on a improperly taken catch, how do you expect him to walk.
However, considering his experience and stature, its high time he starts doing that.

the touch was not a very prominent one. it could have well gone unnoticed. Sachin is too good a person to stay if he had noticed. well all said and done. Hurray!!! CSK has won and how!!!

Gavaskar has once said, it is better to be a non walker than to be a selective walker..
Sachin has shown how inconsistent and ungentlemanly his behaviour is, when he didnt walk today..He pales in comparison to other greates like Gilchrist and Lara who have walked away even on crucial occassions..
Anyway hats off to CSK..Dhoni and his boys deserved this win..

Well we have seen Sachin get the man of the match and man of the series of awards numerous times, even when other people have scored more runs or when Indian have lost..
This is what u get when u have a lot of corporate sponsors pushing ur case..
He might have scored the maximum runs in the tournament, but failed in the 2 most crucial matches...
