That is something they will never say, if MI won, they would have said "What a wonderful performance!!" Now that they have lost, they need to find an excuse, and they have found match-fixing.

No Vijay, it is the other way round, some would have said "yes, the game is fixed and it's tailor made for Mumbai" They lost, still some are saying it's fixed! Some fellows are really hard to please!

It is a dirty racket which no point in discussing here,,, Let us relish the closely fought final and the deserved victory of Chennai
Once Imran Khan said "With all due respect Sachin is great player but he is never a match winner". Yesterday Sachin proved once again that although he is great player but what is the use of 20 years expereince what time comes you cannot make proper plan. There are so many faults one can easly point like, batting order, you have wasted Polard, Your very first over got maiden, where the target is 160 ,your own performance is ball to ball, saurabh was man of the match in semi but you dropped his order also, the same pitch where all your top oerder strugling Pollard bombarded to Bolinger. Sorry Mr.SAchin, it was you who dissapointed MI yesterday. Here Dhoni proved once again that he better captain, and you prove again that why BCCI snatched captanship from you long time back.

So, u mean that sachin is also involved in match fixing..if it is a match fixing, sachin would have also involved in that. But IT dept says that Sachin, Saurav, and Dravid is not involved in the match fixing...

You cannot say that the match was fixed. Its true that Sachin is great player but he is not match winner. Look at the way he played in final. No aggression. He wanted stay there till the end and That what cost MI...Lost the match. was sachin out earlier, MI would have been won the match.
Re: Re: Re: Match Winner

oh really! in semifinal, Dhoni and Badri made runs at a ball and that proved crucial in the last! Sachin was doing the right thing but others couldn't fired. Yeah, the batting order was really worst! When Tiwario and Raydu were playing superbly, there was no need to send Bhajji as a pinch hitter specially when you have a big hitter Pollard in the team! :(

Well said...i can understand that it is a bitter pill but accept the reality ...mumbai fans should accept that one the given day chennai played well...Mumbai fans must understand that by saying that the match is fixed they are bringing disrepute to sachin and the whole mumbai indians...do they say that they have lost just for the sake of money...Ambani does not need this money from match fixing and considering the mess going on now no idiot will even dream for fixing a match

The consistent performance of CSK in all the 3 IPL shows that CSK won becoz of Its talented players under Dhoni's leadership and the Chennai people's love for cricket. Losers, out of frustration say it is fixed.

Match was fixed before the semi-final stage itself... Hence all are involved. Govt should investigate the same too...

ha ha ho ho he he hello parag accept the reality. We Chennai people are always Indians first and not like you fanatic fellows. Let Indians say which is safer for Indians!! 1)We won't beat North Indians for silly reasons since our capital city is built mainly with their sweats and hardwork till our new Asia's biggest Secretariat 2)even though a Tamil nadu team we love to have Dhoni and Raina as our proudful team players 3)Politicians also played language politics. But we love every Indian soul..not like son of the soin concept in ur state and beating fellow own indians. So Love the sport and be an Indian
That is Tamilnadu. Rubberstamp President from ur state. Terrific President Abdul Kalam from Tn still he is first an Indian then he is ours.

I hope Raina continues the good work in T20 world cup also.
CSK deserved to win this match as they handled the pressure better than Mumbai. Barring the first 10 overs of the match, Chennai were pretty clinical in their performance. I cant help but admire the great captain Dhoni. He was the one who started the onslaught with a one handed six of Pollard. He kept his cool behind the wickets while Mumbai were batting. Sachin did his best to see his side through, he did not even walk out when he got the edge. (although it cant be said whether he himself knew that). The biggest trouble with Sachin's captaincy has been that he has always taken too much on himself for taking the team through. That's why he always been a great batsman, but never a shrewd captain.
Kudos to Dhoni. He had a superb team, specially the bowlers; but it was his inspirational captaincy that helped turn Chennai's fortunes after an unimpressive start to IPL III. Lets see whether he can carry this over to the T20 World Cup.
