No. I think the credit should go to Kapil Dev. It is the idea of ICL mooted by Kapil Dev that has resulted in the creation of IPL. IPL was created to counter ICL. I think even with out Modi IPL would have achieved success.
We all know about sunami in IPL. Things are like this from the start. Why only Lalit Modi should be axed if Sharad pawar, Manohar and all other persons of governing councils knew the facts. They all should be axed if modi goes. He just told us what is happening in IPL. Everone knows no franchisee is fair enough. Modi should be axed for what?
There are many witches involved in the BCCI and this IPL is only an avatar.Without the tacit support of Pawar the main King Pin, Lalit MOdi could not have pulled off a right Royal coup as he has done.Today he has become Bigger than his mentor.Pawar wants to save his position and his family.Hence Modi has become the sacrificial Lamb. Now MOdi is the best bet to get him to spill the beam on all the other witches in the BCCI.Cricket is a gentleman's game.It will never be if this corrupt group is still going to run it.IPL must be run by the legitimate franchisees on rotational basis between different club owners if it should come out of its tarnished image.

in the team? u dnt knw? the players and thie rrelatives...! hahaha..go and watch T. V. Dude!
When some body grows beyond everything else, time has come for his downfall. This rule applies well for both Modi and Tharoor. Modi reached a stage where he thought he is above everyone and nobody can touch him. Tharoor was all in the air and forgot his basic responsibilities. Even local leaders at TVM were not able to access him and he was flying high in a very different world. So was Modi with all his high headiness and arrogance. So there came the great leveler.

Yes but why the black money always stay in the hands of the these big guys. The Mallayas Ambani and Co Unlimited.
Why shd the common man not be part of big time corruption
Atleast the disparity will reduce and a common man's heart may share his booty with another common man
Yes, there is a parallel black money economy in India without which 7 % GDP growth wouldnt have been seen.
But isnt it time that we NATIONALIZE CORRUPTION for the benefit of the common man
