When 3500 cr is involved and politicians ,nothing will happen ,the corrupt even travelled abroad hid all papers will pay to IB,IT and get away. The scape goat was Shashi Tharoor naive open speaking Minister Judged by his love for Kochi IPL and his woman not for the work he did.Politics set for Dynasty rule in India ,No importance for the dullards waiting to become PM so boot out one who can DO ,A NEW INDIA party should start all the old goons in Politics rooted out.Issues like DSLV3 Launch failure water power food has all gone to the wind instead a Minister who can make decisions and is not a puppet is shunted out,he should not remain inthis corrupt party at all,the right man is the convicted drug kidnapper and robber just suited to the party and their politics.

Twitter works Wonders!!! Yesterday Vijay mallya said IPL as Indian Panga Legaue....Then SerDesai said to Mallya " Welcome to Twitter World, be careful if you live by it...u may also die by it!!! "

Modi's Anarchy Rule in IPL and a big Role in Killing the ICL, Violating Broadcasting Terms for MSM-(Former Sony )for IPL2 Season.......all these Bad Karma is now cathcing up with him

But what will that BCCI Leech do to another Leech? Both Leeches exist in this world to suck money....difference is that Pawar sucks from Common ppl and Modi like Robinhood Sucks Money from Big Shots!!

Dear, Will you be able to explain why this scape goat had to literally kicked out of the cabinet?? If he was so sauve why he did not left the chair soon it became all evident and crystal clear that a "smart lady" was benefitted heavily just because of his "proximity" with her and his office powers and his OSD influence.

The Union Govt's, sudden and late action. against BCCI/IPL will cut no ice with public. There were reports that , on last 15th night half an hour before the IT team reached Mr.Lalit Modi's office one women had left the office with a laptop and other files.Nobody till day thought to look into that. But for Mr.Sjhashi Tharoor's(Kochi IPL) issue, the murky deals of IPL would not have come to lime light and the vested interests would have carried on merrily. If one see the BCCIor state cricket associations they all packed with politicians, most of them are ministers in centre or state or CMs.The BCCI or any other sportbody for that matter are only stuffed with politicians whose interest is not the development of sports.Hence nothing concret ewill emerge from the ongoing inveatigations into acts BCCI/IPL .Mr.Lalit Modi may be forced go in retaliation to Tharoorgate , only to be reinstated some wherein BCCI/C All the posts politicinas occupy in BCCI?IPL and other sport bodies are said to be honarary on paprr but they are vested with enormous powers, thus attract Office of Profit provisions.Govt and oppsition haaen't looked into this delibrately. If the government is sincere in cleanising the sports bodies, should make them professionaly managed, and bring them under the ambit of OoP .

Fully agree. If there was corruption in IPL, why was the IT / ED etc. waiting for 3 years? Just because Modi took on Tharoor, is it not an act of retaliation / vendetta? Whom is the central government fooling?

I thought it was mentioned that this woman is someone related to Vijay Mallya, his step daughter? Are you talking about that woman? What made you think that the Govt or the concerned agency did not look into the matter of a woman leaving the office before the IT team reached IPL office?

by vijay patel on Apr 20, 2010 11:31 AM  | Hide replies

Sharad Pawar and all BCCI and IPL people and NCP and BJP know Modi is a liability and its time to show him the door to save themselves from being investigated.

It is strange that the scam is not known to BCCI president and IPL governing council consisting of leader of opposition Arun Jaitely.

They know when its time to ditch.

this entire this is a sham. just conside rthis. Vijay mallya is a liquor barron and u can say he almost single handedly controls the liquor market in andia ,now our vakru tunda pawar has bought vineyards in baramati- where farmers are commiting suicide-and the business link developsso much so that pawar even got the legislation changed to classify wine as low alcohol beverage, this is just one link betwen the ipl franchises and politicians.

Modi is a blessing in disguise...
by sdfgdfsgdfg dfgdfgsdfg on Apr 20, 2010 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

By inadvertentently tweeting the names of IPL Kochi, Modi has done wonders in excavating and exhuming the dirt of politics, power and corruption in the political circles as well as BCCI. No wonder y BCCI body is in no mood to spare him.
Well done Mr. Modi, albeit unknowingly... :)

Y politics and politicians in Cricket?
by sdfgdfsgdfg dfgdfgsdfg on Apr 20, 2010 11:26 AM  | Hide replies

Late Madhav Raj Scindia, Manohar Joshi, Arun Jaitley, and now this Sharad Pawar - such heavy weight politicians entry into cricket is not new, but then of late, its really become murky.
Clearly these people want to have power and misuse it for their vested interests.
Sharad Pawar has failed as an Agriculture Minister, big time, and V do not see ny reasons y he shud hold on to that tag now. With farmer suicides alarmingly high and so is the price rise of essential food commodities, he is really worth that post now. What else can happen when he invests his thoughts, focus, attention and energy on Cricket rather than the burnings issues under his purview of Agriculture Ministry? Y is he allowed to be continued in office still after such continous and failures of such magnitude?
Its bout time he is made to choose between Cricket and Ministry.

Absolutely correct. Things are moving as expected. BCCI or its bosses definitely feel unhappy by the entry of Income Tax dept into their deeds. If every thing is ok then why to worry. Worry is because definitely there is something wrong. In a country where a common man is expected to cough up his hard earned money as tax, big agencies like BCCI and others headed by big and so called respectable people find ways to hide the matters. Realy those in politics along with their relatives and friends are becoming richer every second. If you want to survive and prosper you have to be one of them. But if caught quit as Tharooor did or enjoy.
