ICL was a true cricket compared to IPL,BCCI did everything to stop the growth of ICL,otherwise ICL was nice tournament arranged by Zee in true spirit,IPL is a gamblers paradize, making millions from each game,Legalize betting in India,so that common man get some benefit.
This is a clever message to Modi like Marvadi.. dont play like Tharoor like Keralite. why....!!!, Now Tharoor lost his position. But Election in kerala is very near. he will be a candidate and to be a minister. But what happened modi, now he will loose his position and investigation started for how he collect money and issue shares to his families. Already he failed in Gujrate cricket coucil election. Dont play....!!!
The people who are talking of betting and black money are themselves having cases in their names for fraud. There was an idea with Modi, and he implemented it as IPL. It's success is making people jealous. Who knows BCCI and the govt themselves does not get involoved in black money usage. Who can prove that there is no black money involved in BCCI. Success of anyone in INDIA in undigestable to others.
Very few people in indian history has done something so phenomenol in such a short time...so act but be careful because one of the most intelligent guy is at the courtroom...
This is the price he has to pay for taking on the bull (read Tharoor) by its horn. This is nothing but a political vendetta. IPL is in existence for the last 3 years and suddenly the Finance Ministry / IT Department etc. wakes up and calls for records etc. proves this.

It was Modi who raised allegations about financial irregularities with one of the franchisees. When IT dept started investigation they decided to do it for all, what's wrong with that?

the facts are different kalyan. Plz refer to today's ET. What abt him buying a fleet of Mecedez - S class, few BMWs, a luxury yacht, and a private jet between 2008 and 2010. What abt his proxies owning stakes in at least 2 IPL teams. Yes he made the big mistake of 'throwing a stone while living in a glass house'. Good that he did... the tax payer's money may be saved for now...
If govt. takes the ownership of BCCI and IPL, they will do even bigger scams and that too without the knowledge of anyone. The IT dept, anti corruption dept will not even ask a single question to anyone.
