A Rajendran
If in trouble attack Narendra Modi
by A Rajendran on Apr 15, 2010 08:22 PM

This seems to be the tactic of anyone who is in trouble. Link Narendra Modi to the controversy and get away with it. The issue is Sashi Tharoor's influencing the bid. Instead of coming out clean, this guy Gaikwad is evading the issue and starts attacking Lalit Modi and Narendra Modi. Who knows who will the target of his attack tomorrow. Sharad Pawar probably.

Idiot.

Narendra Modi under attack from Kochi franchisee
by Hebbar R on Apr 15, 2010 06:56 PM  | Hide replies

These are just diversionary tactics. The Franchisees strategy seems to be to bring in the name of Narendra Modi so that the Congress will jump to their support.

A Team for Kochi is not the issue here. The issue here is whether Tharoor used his influence to make benami money thro' his friend Sunanda Pushkar. The idea of "Sweat Equity" is certainly an after thought. This needs to be investigated. All other issues are frivolous and just simply diversionary.

About the statements by the Minister for Sports, one can only say "look who is talking". Though Technically and Legally there is no problem, his taking up a Congress Minister post after retiring as CEC just implies that he is being repaid for favour done. Hopefully that is not true.

The person who is making these allegations is Satyajit Gaikwad, a member of congress and twice lost to BJP in Vadodara MP seat. So this is not surprising. In gujarat all congressis are indulged in bogus allegations against Modi. Be it Tushar Chaudhary, Shaktisinh, Shankersinh, Bharat Solanki or Arjun Modhvadia. This venture of Gaikwad is to show their high command their dedication toward party.

Why a team to Kochi
by obama on Apr 15, 2010 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Kochi has nothing to do with Cricket. Forget about the money/bidding etc. The city has no connection to Cricket. If this is allowed, then, every city will ask for IPL team. Attayampatti, kakkinaada, davanegare, etc.

Retarded buf00n, Two Indian cricketers have already been from Kochi. And it has hosted many ODIs already.

Yes, if may be any city is free to bid and win. Kochi won through fair means. The two Modis are trying to subvert it through backdoor operations.

One is under investigation for mass murder, the other is a convicted drug trafficker. They are not expected to play fair anywhere, but they should not succeed, if they do all criminals will now use under hand method for instead of winning through fair means.

Pratham:

Thanks for the clarification. Being under investigation is your final benchmark of pronouncing someone guilty, eh?

Good. So after we are finished hanging Modi, we can hang Shashi Tharoor tomorrow, Sharad Pawar after him, SonyaJee GandhiJee later, and the Maut Ke Saudagar Manmohan SinghJee of the Mumbai, Bareilly and Hyderabad fame in the end... right? :)
And somewhere during the advertisement breaks, we will fit in small episodes like Sajjan Kumar, Lalloo Prasad, Ashok Chavan, Rosaiah, etc. etc..

Sounds like a plan.. :)

What a shame ?
by vijaya kumar on Apr 15, 2010 06:54 PM  | Hide replies

hahahaha what a joke. Narendra modi is pressurising lalit modi for cancellation of kochi franchisee. This is pure case of frustration by the new owners. Who else is the fall guy for each and every ill of India - Narendar Modi. What a shame. One more thing since when keralites are involved in Cricket? They are fond of foot ball games and not cricket. Please study Sunanda Pushkar’s LinkedIn Profile (just google it)……
She herself is saying she is JUST a SALES MANGER in a Telco…and was in Commercial real estate industry for 5 years…. Tharoor y’day said on NDTV that she has her own business credentials… How on earth a SALES MANAGER musters up 70 Crore worth of free equity in a company ?There are thousands of SALES MANAGERS working in India and Dubai… What special skill she has over others ?
Isnt it obvious that she is nothing but a benami for slick Tharoor?

I am amazed that even after all this, Tharoor hasnt resigned his ministership. It shows the guy knows some dark secrets of the ruling dispensation... is it some thing to do with Quattrochi?

contd...
Tharoor cares as much for Kerala as he would for his former wives.... He is way too slick and slippery to have any sort of serious allegiance to any thing, let alone Kerala. So the Keralites who are holding cudgels for a charlatan like Tharoor are just fooling themselves. Tharoor is far removed from normal India and that includes Kerala. He is spoilt by 7-star culture and moves with high society women. He prefers staying in 7-star hotels just to use Gyms and other amenities. For him to continue as Minister after all these scandalous episodes including IPL is unconscionable. But I dont expect him to have a moral compass that can guide him to resign. Kerala has produced wonderful politicians like EMS, etc. and it is a shame to see cheapsters like this Tharoor!!!

Kalyanraman Venkataraman
kochi team
by Kalyanraman Venkataraman on Apr 15, 2010 06:35 PM

The kochi bidders seem to be a total confused lot, introducing a new element. The introduction of Vasundhra Raje and Narendra Modi seems to be their bid divert the issues and please the congress, so that the congress can escape citing these. Earlier they had said that two UPA ministers pressurised them without actually naming them and leaving it to speculate. Also their mention like kkr by sunanda and sharad pawar has already had rebuffs. The more the statements they are going to make with Times NOw gleefully gobbling the same is going to make people believe that the things are murkier with Kochi team and not lalit modi and land congress in deep trouble.
