What is there to comment on? Under what section of criminal or civic code can you prevent an adult from marrying another adult?
You or I don't have to like that this is happening but the alternative - some kind of forcible or violent disruption of the marriage would be far more damaging to India than a hyped up marriage between two have-been sports stars.
Finally I live in UK and actually happen to know a number of married couples who are actually of mixed Indian / Pakistani nationality. So far the sky has not fallen down on any of them or on the people living around them. As a character in one of your 'hukla zero actor's' movies once said, take a chill pill (KKKG in case you are wondering). This too shall pass...

The simplest reason is you all pakis are not the kind of human who live in 21st century!You murdered and made mass graves of poor Bengalis and still cotinue under your ignorance,illiteracy (one such case in Mumbai)and still continue. You all pakis first become normal and come out of your taleban doctrine and learn to live in a civil soceity.

Fried Yakov - by all means let the cheating case proceed and let law take its due course. But this doesn't seem something that needs a lot of comment from any section since there the law seem to alert and active on this front.
I am not Pakistani but never mind that. Morality in this case is relative. I agree it is painful to see Pakistan score such a PR brownie point or to hear their tennis chief express his hope that Sania will play for Pakistan. However, assuming these are two invididuals who have met and fallen in love (& if the courts find Shoaib not guilty of bigamy), I can see nothing to allows a civilised society to compel them to sacrifice their love for some greater good.
There are of course political systems where this dilemma would not exist - where the state would simply not allow something like this. But these are not countries whose company I wish India to keep. The India I cherish is too big hearted and committed to liberty ^ personal freedom to intrude upon this, the most personal of human choice.

Hyderabad (IANS) Hyderabad police Tuesday continued their probe against Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik for allegedly cheating a woman after marrying her.
Sleuths of Central Crime Station (CCS) of Hyderabad police were in the process of collecting evidence against Shoaib, who is still at the residence of his bride-to-be, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
Police sources said investigating officers would again quiz Ayesha Siddiqui, who claimed to be his first wife, and ask her to furnish more evidence in support of her allegations.
Apart from documentary evidences like 'nikahnama', the legal notice which was served on Shoaib in the past and his reply to the same, Ayesha has reportedly already submitted medical reports to support her allegation that they had physical relationship and that she became pregnant and had a miscarriage.
According to sources close to the Siddiqui family, she also gave details of the places where they stayed together in Hyderabad and the people who called on them while they were together.
Police, who had already taken Shoaib's passport, were verifying how many times he had visited Hyderabad since his alleged marriage over phone in 2002. The investigating team, which grilled the former Pakistani skipper for nearly two hours Monday, may again examine him to take his version on the claims made by Ayesha.

Shoaib, during his questioning Monday, told police he never met the girl whose photographs were sent to him. He claimed that he was fooled by the girl who is calling herself Ayesha Siddiqui alias Maha Siddiqui, by sending the photographs of another girl.
Police Sunday booked a criminal case against Shoaib on charges of cheating, harassment and criminal intimidation following a complaint filed by Ayesha.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner A.K. Khan said they may arrest Shoaib if it becomes necessary and only after they come across evidence against him.
Police have identified 10 to 15 witnesses in the case and would examine them. The witnesses include those who signed the 'nikahnama' and they could be both in India and Pakistan.
"The investigation is a laborious process as it involves examining witnesses at different places," Khan said while refusing to give a time-frame for the probe's completion.

The pictures sent by ayesha to shoaib, which he claims to be of another girl,should be revealed to the court and the police. The medical reports showing ayesha\\\'s pregnancy and miscarriage should be traced. If such reports do not exist all the accusations made by ayesha may be untrue. Find out the Taj hotel room receipts and records showing whether shoaib & ayesha stayed in the hotel room for 2-3 days as told to the media by ayesha. LET THE TRUTH PREVAIL AND NOT BIASED OPINIONS.
Bal and Gay M0di should speak now and clear their stand on this issue..Looks like money has been paid to these clowns to keep quiet..what a shame?...Sania..thanks for spoiling your career and your name..Me?..I am a proud Indian Muslim.

Ayesha seems to be highly delusional... and has probably done all this to fan her psyche... At least now she is noticed via the media! She must be an only spoilt child and her parents are probably giving in to her, lest she creates tantrums etc, or even hurt herself to gain attention! She seems to be a mean, conniving little wretch..starting with using another girl's pictures.. so she is used to all this low underhand behaviour, indulged by her parents.. unless they need counselling too!
