first reason-bollinger took two wickets. second reason-he took an impossible catch to dismiss pathan. third reason-he gave 15 runs in 4 overs .all other bowlers gave more than 40 runs in those 4 overs.he eventually saved those 23 runs.
Awesome,classy knock by Murali Vijay. This is the best knock of this season so far. However,except Sunil Gavaskar,no body even talked of such a monumental innings. It was very sad to see that commentators sitting in extra innings were hurriedly skipping to the next match. They were starting to praise Sachin even before the match started. Sounded very awkward as no single word was mentioned about Murali's blistering knock. I don't understand why people get silent when someone from South India does great things.On the contrary,when Harbhajan scored a 49 from 18 balls the other day, this great man Sidhu was shouting in joy and exclaimed that 'Bhajji is a true sardar and so on and so forth'. People who have been continously criticising Srikanth for his selection should note how Murali played so well in the last 3 matches. I have never seen Srikanth talk something like what Sidhu talked in the past. To be honest,he never even tried to bring his own son into the team. So it is not fair to criticize someone too early.Also, it is not true that people from South India are biased. Hope everyone knows that Chennai crowd is the best (this has been the statement over years from many big international cricketing teams).

I think you missed out the comments of Sidhu after the innings of Chennai Super Kings It is a stale thing to bring the South North divide or West Vijay played brilliant innings and this is the second time for CSK He showed excellent promise in Test matches and has long way to prove consistently No comparison with Sachin and Vijay has miles to go and that is the reality Dineswh is also doing well and there was lots of praise by Steve on his captaincy The best way to get attention is performance and keep other things aside Muthu K Thanu

Dear Muthu,You are right. Probably I missed the comments of Sidhu. However, I think you have misunderstood my other part. I did not compare Murali with Sachin. My question is why they are heaping praises for a player even before a match is starting ? Also, I don't think when ur a commentator,ur supposed to express feelings in a exaggerated manner. I am not bringing any regionalism here but that is the fact. When Srikanth is giving very few chances to TN players, people start to criticize him like anything (they criticized Badri for scoring 50 under toughest conditions against South Africa in 1st test match). But whenever some other selector takes lot of players and gives them innumerable chances without much reason,people tend to either support or keep mum. I don't think that is correct.

In India it happens Gopal...u r 200% true...FDI mostly flows to south .. why...world knows our talents..enjoy.. lets work for rulers & these ppl be entertainers...funny circiket or skinny bollywud...

Gopal, dont worry....even I'm from Orissa, I love TN players....thats y they r undefeated in all the national games for last 2 yr ( Ranji's,ODI's) except this yrs loss in the fina to UP as all the players of TN were busy in IPL.... (they r unfortunate enuf not to win this yrs Ranji though they didnt loose a single match )....
i really admire thi batting line up :- A srikanth , A Mukund, A Karthik, D Karthik, Badri, Vijay..

abt current players, M Vijay is the ONE n ONLY ONE GUY who can play in all 3 formats...
