Rayudu who hit a 55 to help MI wina yet again today was once upon a time a strong prospect in the Indian team...but then Arjun yadav who good for nothing player who happens to be the son of Shivlal Yadav could'nt stand his stardom in the Andhra team and picked up a fight. Then came in Politcs in cricket...like Indian politics... it was either a talented and middle class family cricketer or an arrogant, headstrong, rich and spoilt cricketer who ahd to win.... Arjun Yadav the good for nothing won and Rayudu was not seen again...luckily Rayudu got a chance to play the ICL and then after performing there got a chance to get into IPL and today everyone can see how indispensable he is in the MI team....
people like Shivlal yadav and Arjun Yadav need to be punished but then who cares!

Yes, Harish, veey well said. IPL is the platform where real talent gets a chance to perform. Now the selectors can't take useless deadwood. Whereas the public has no idea of who's playing and how in Ranji and Duleep Trophies, in IPL everyone knows what's available countrywide. Still, people like Robin Sharma have managed to enter the team ahead of the likes of Rayudu and Saurabh Tiwary.

same is true with dhobi. he doesn't desrve a place in t20 indian team. See his records in last t20 wcup. He has lowest strike rate among all batsman who played more than 10 t20 international but still in team. Ojha/kartik/patel much better than him. But dhobi has politician/media/add agency/selectors back up & who cares for fairness. I know this uselss dhobi will continue in indian team for next 10 yrs in name of captaincy irrespective of his own performance.
On current IPL3 form, I think Manish Pandey, Pragyan Ojha, Naman Ojha, Utapa probably missed out big time. Also, who has seen Jadeja lately? I think the extras will really be tourists.

Jadeja and Nehra are the true passengers. Naman Ojha could be a good substituite opener.

I'm sorry, you are trying to say something but I couldn't comprehend. In the language of intelligence, even your fine grammatical English won't convey what you wanted to say - because you are just an IGNORANT.

Did you posted that to your-self, Man, you don't even know how to post the comment, you dropped on this board to throw your views? funny, buy a book "blogging for dummies".
It was excellent day of cricket, I watched both Chennai and Mumbai matches.
I'm not critic here but want to share my thoughts on how bad CSK did in the bowling attack, had Bolinger was not there, today's match would have been absolute loss. 3 Drop catches, Badrinath really not contributing much from his side, he need to improve. He is still kiddish though he could bat.
Murali Vijay, he was awesome. I liked his previous two innings better than this just because there was nothing in this pitch for the bowlers - it's obvious.
Bolinger - his bowling really super ceded Murali Vijay, I admired his catch over the fence. I punched the air for about 2 mins. I couldn't stop my excitement. I was just happy to see Vijay score 100 but never excited as much as I did for Bolinger. He is really a champ. This is the first time I watched him bowl. He is really a star performer.
Tiyagi did well, morkel little better today compared to last few games, he batted really well.
One question still haunts CSK is what is the winning score that they can defend?
Bowling, CSK still just 50% fit, they need to give at least 100%. "100% is the least" if they want to win the game.
I'm CSK supporter,
Mumbai - I supported Mumbai Indians just strategically because MI win would push DC far below the table that might help CSK stay higher the point table.

I never consider myself Genius, but my comments are better, my analysis are better, and I prove myself better than you,
What do you call it as "No Genius"? Well, if I'm better than you, that's what I wanted to be.

Batsman won the match? well, I was not aware of batsman is playing for his own win. I thought it was TEAM that suppose to have won or lose not individual player. May be I'm wrong. I will correct myself, you are such a cricketing genius. I would place you in commentary box. I bet you will die in heart palpitation if you ever see a microphone in front of you. LOL. you are such a jerk.

HEEE, I'm really cool now. You know why? You are not a guy to be compared against.
I can bet the TN players can itself form a good IPL side... they r undefeated in all the national games for last 2 yr ( Ranji's,ODI's) except this yrs loss in the fina to UP as all the players of TN were busy in IPL.... (they r unfortunate enuf not to win this yrs Ranji though they didnt loose a single match ).... i really admire thi batting line up :- A srikanth , A Mukund, A Karthik, D Karthik, Badri, Vijay....
Note :- I'm from Orissa n my all time best Indian Batsman is Sunny Gavaskar...

In Vijay Hazare cup i.e., Indian domestic version for 50 overs format TN is Champion. Mumbai is champion in Test format in which Karnataka played them in the final
Re: Re: Re: I bet ...
by bango tango on Apr 04, 2010 02:41 AM
i did nt say that TN was champion in all the formats....wt i said they did no loose a single match except the T20 Final....TN couldnt made it to the semis of Ranji on basis of first innings lead agnst Delhi in the QF ..
Sehwag (never been that successful in shorter version of the game, current IPL is another example)
Gambhir (Good as he can hold one end)
Raina (Very Good, as he can easily adapt to the situation)
Yuvraj (Very Good, but seriously out of form now)
Karthik (Good, Playing well currently and deserves the place in the team)
Dhoni (The man who single handedly kncoked India out of the last World T20 by insisting to come at #3 spot and chew up the balls, hopfully he has learnt the lesson)
Y.Pathan (Good, Perfect fit for T20 format)
Harbhajan (Good, one spinner in the team and he can swing a bat too)
Zaheer (Very Good- India's Premium Pace Bowler)
Praveen Kumar (Good, Accurate enough as he has proven over the last year or so)
Vinay Kumar (Performed well of lately, we will see)
Extras: Nahera (Always injured and inconsistent)
Jadeja (hasn't really proven anything in T20 international or One Dayers)
Rohit Sharma (This man who only smiles when he talks to Gilchrist, Gibbs, Symond - More attitude then what he really worths)
Piyush Chawla (Best as average, based on his performaces)
Doesn't really look like a world beater T20 squad. They should have added Uthappa as the man is in great form and built up himself as powerful slugger..

can u tell me who was Dhruv Pandav ?? who r the 3W's of cricket ??? whoz the only player who hit a six of the last ball in an ODI when 6 was reqd to tie the match ???
Re: Re: Team India for World T20
by Gorango Thakurta on Apr 04, 2010 02:29 AM
1. a punjab teenage cricketer who died in a car crash 2. Worrell, Walcott, Weeks 3.Asif Mijtaba, pak vs aus, 1992.
first reason-bollinger took two wickets. second reason-he took an impossible catch to dismiss pathan. third reason-he gave 15 runs in 4 overs .all other bowlers gave more than 40 runs in those 4 overs.he eventually saved those 23 runs.
Re: didn`t bollinger desrved MOM too along with vijay?
by Manjunath Srikantiah on Apr 04, 2010 01:35 AM
Bad bowling to Vijay cost rajasthan the match. They knew that the guy is hitting them of the front foot but fed him with fuller length deliveries. He should have been fed with 2 to 3 short balls. Even RCB did the same mistake against this guy, they did not bowl short to him in the last game that they met each other.

Yes I think you are right. Doug Bollinger was outstanding in his bowling and fielding. I think the crucial wicket of Shane Watson which he claimed cost the match for RR and that outstanding catch of Yusuf Pathan which changed the match. I think awarding MOM can be like sharing system in these kind of situations.
