Indian Cricket ????
by ajay patel on Sep 29, 2009 11:32 AM

It is going down and down with each match...It is very surprised when India beat Srilanka in Tri Series ( Thansk to Sachin), but what they are doing right now ? The poor performance against Pakistan and same is repeated against Australia, what dhoni and team is doing ? Dhoni is becoming weak captain now a days. There is lack of strategic planning in his captency.

Indian Team reaches to TOP 1 position twice for a shorter duration, instead of keeping the rank every one is palying very calmly, no one is so enthuastic to play like a No. 1 team this includes capt Dhoni.

It is worthy to say " the golden days are gone for Dhoni" the players in which Dhoni has trusted are not performing.

It has been observed in many tournaments that Indian team is performing in such way so that it want to enter in to semis they need to depend on other if they loose, if they win but with less margin etc.

Why the performance is deteriorating ? AN extensive workshop need to organised among all the playing and non-playing (former) cricketers to keep Indian Cricket live, otherwise the Indian Cricket team will be at the bottom of ICC ranking one fine day.

they are not participating, they are practicing for IPL matches. There is big money in IPL. We are eager to see IPL matches. Playing for the country is no more a pride...

Cynical
BCCI to Blame
by Cynical on Sep 29, 2009 11:30 AM

Guys, I might sound rubbish. But just ponder on my words. It is hight time that our so called caretakers (Read BCCI) of our cricket team should pull up their socks and work professionally for the future that thinking about how to turn the team a Money making machine.

Just a mOnth back we were almost un-beatable. Why this downturn? The simple reason is non-availability of few players like Shewag, Zahir and Yuvraj. Leave Yuvraj aside the other two are injured for quite sometime and all due to this nonsense called IPL. But our board is least bothered. They need money even if our team goes to dogs.

Now you guys might agree that Players are also playing for money and more interested for IPL. Let me assure you, even if a Player says he will only represent India and won;'t take the risk of Playing IPL, they I bet BCCI will make sure that his career is finished.

So the culprit of this dibacle is BCCI, Only BCCI. Crooks like Sarad Pawar and Lalit Modi should be thrown out.

Why they were given place in CT itself, Bangladesh / Kenya / Zimbabwe would have played better..

No need to be cynical!

No need to be disheartened. In recent times there have been upsets in all major tournaments.

2007 WC: India / Pak were out in prelim round.
2007 T20 WC: SA / SL were out Semis
2009 T20 WC: Aus out in prelim round
2009 CT: SA, SL out in prelim round. (May be India too!).

india's loss to pakistan
by sachin golhare on Sep 29, 2009 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

richard pybus the former pakistai coach had predicted that pakistan will win this match. the reasons he gave were that india without sehwag and yuvi does not have the capability to score quickly, and without zaheer india's bowling is weak.when asked about sachin he replied that sachin is technically too correct and thus does not take risks in playing innovative shots. pybus predictions proved correct
