Congratulation to Pakistan Cricket Team !
by itz Scorpion on Sep 27, 2009 02:54 PM  | Hide replies

India is a very good team. But if Sehwag, Yuvraj, Irfan, sreeshant, Zaheer are not playing in Indian cricket team then it will be a loser team.

..they had Kumble who had for him prepared "boat-shaped" indian pitches so that whereever he pitches the ball it goes towards the wicket

Do not expect much from nehra, It was only tha fact that other fast bowlers are below avaerage that is why nehara looks extraordinaory.Believe me even the C grade side of westindies have a better fast bowling attack (tongue, Raphe who bowls 150 k.m pace) than india.

If india can not groom fast bowler then may be it can invest in some other countries like westindies, pakistan, australia etc , and can hire new pools of fastbowler who can hold the indian flag high for our country. With BCCI being the richest board in the world , india can definately afford to do it.It is simply disgusting that India with a population 100 crore is not able to produce world class fast bowler after Kapil and srinath

THey were swing bowler never fast. You need someone to ball 150kph consistently. Each team have one bowler like that bret lee (aus), malinga (sl), bond (nzl), our ishant so called fast bowler seldom bowls 140 kph.

It's due to the riches
by Bangla on Sep 27, 2009 02:48 PM  | Hide replies

One team (IND) has abundant of resources/salary/money etc. that causes the downfall...a lack of it also causes it (WI). So there should be a strategy to make the players work hard for their earnings (AUS/NZ/SA)

also the media should take the blame for giving too much notice to cricket causing an imbalance. In AUS/NZ/SA how many ppl know about or have any intesrest in cricket? very few %. That is what it should be. It is very sad that a population of 1 billion people could not produce a football team to play in the World cups.

LAST TIME WHEN DHONI PERFORMED OVERSSEAS'' BOUNCY TRACK
by suman saurabh on Sep 27, 2009 02:42 PM

Yes, yeaterday was a bad day for Dhoni, right from captancy to batting every thing went horribly wrong against him.His decision to give bowling to Virat kohly was pathetic. If you have tendulkar legspin, suresh raina left arm bowling why would you handover ball to a batsman who has come just 1 day before the game right from india, and give him 4-5 overs in a strech to bowl also.It gave a chance to pak batsman to set their eye in.Shoib mallik is a 3rd grade batsman to who indians game them so many loose delilveries and made a average batsman look extra ordinary.

dhoni's the non-smiling buddha, complete useless as of late. see the way afridi, younis keep talking & charging their strike bowlers every now n then, but our buddha keeps standing like a lame duck behind the wickets holding his balls full in his mouth watching RP singh, ishant belted aroung like lame mules. kudos to nehra though, he bowled well. as far as the old hag dravid is concerned, he better retire & spare us the misery of watching him play a teat match innings like in for a demanding match yesterday. guess kohli needs to make way for the experienced karthik, harbhajan still needs to test drive his hummer...so make way for amit mishra, fresh legged nayar needs to make way for the grandpa dravid before he runouts half the team...any comments guyzzzz????

India is good only in setting targets. If they chase target, they fail. Sachin has become old. He should come in middle order. Gambhir should open with pathan or raina.

No team work
by Kiran Garaga on Sep 27, 2009 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

The game played by the Indians was so frustrating to watch. The pakistanis played well and the best team won. Why is Dhoni putting the bowlers at fault. Lately his batting and wicket keeping also has become very sloppy. He must as a captain learn to take up some responsibility instead of giving excuses of the pitch, fatigue, injuries etc etc/. The entire team is at fault. And the media for the way they hype up the cricketers. If they play with passion and for the country they will win. They should learn a thing or two from the Lankans. They play for the country not for themselves
