Because Olympics and WADA are GORA Monopoly and ICC wants to bring Cricket under WADA and Olympics, so BCCI's power will be dead.
BCCI is doing right thing by apposing Unilateral laws of WADA which were made without consulting India and other countries. And, Goras think they can enforce the so-called "international" norms on BCCI.
Other Indian players accepted it because they were forced to sign by western slaves in Sports Ministry.
There is no meaning for the cricketers not to sign this clause when all leading players of the world - including the top footballers and tennis-players - have agreed to abide by this clause.
In India, celebrities or VIPs have a tendecy to skip the laws - they always like to have preferential treatment! Let's hope that at least this time, they are shown their true place!

Buddy, simply because others have accepted it does not mean cricketers also should accept it wholeheartedly. First try and understand and explain how u r going to solve the problem of whereabouts clause before advicing others!
After ICC, now its time to reform so-called "inernational" body WADA!!

AFTER ICC, ONE MORE SO-CALLED INTERNATIONAL BODY(WADA) IS FACING THE AXE.
IF WADA IS TRULY 'FAIR' AND 'INTERNATIONAL' AS THEY CLAIM, THEN THEY SHOULD REMOVE AUSTRALIAN EX-FINANCE MINISTER,(AUSSIE POLITICIAN) FROM ITS CHAIRMAN CHAIR.
