Re: test cricket

Then it wont be test cricket. It will be a limited overs game. 90 overs maximimum per innings to each sides. If a team's batsmen are playing in top form and scoring big, the team is in good position to bat for say 130 overs and dominate from there on then tis team will have no extra advantage in the format you suggest. If a team is not able to bat its quota and is out in 50 overs then it may be able to get away with such a poor effort.

first day srilanka bat for 50 overs and india bat for just 10 overs bcz of rain. Same has to happened the next day and finally there was announced by referee india & srilanka both are joint winnners.

Its ok if you dont like the idea.
But please clear your thoughts on "90 overs in a test match". These 90 overs are not comparable or similar to 50 or 100 overs in a one day in any manner. I am sure you know the difference but you just happened to make a wrong connection .

It is a very good idea...?It should be implemented to revive the existing 50-50 format.
