that are injured by markedmondson on Oct 30, 2009 06:47 PM | Hide replies
ferguson, haddin, michael clarke, bracken, lee, hopes and paine and add jacques and its actualy 8 not 7 aussies have won their last 5 odi tournaments in ind i wish them all the best they are the best fighters i dont read any posts
Serious Doubts are concerned about the sachin's form in current ODI series and lets hope he get in touch asap before its get too late ie;series already gone over like as 4-3,5-2,6-1 in favors of either team...
Wake up sachin...wish u all the best in Delhi ODI..
Its definitely a commendable effort by Mr skipper but one should not forget that he is facing the most fragile Australian bowling also. All prior captains had to face the likes of McDermott, McGrath, Gillespie, Reid, Whitney, Lee and many more. Still Azharuddin, Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid have registered centuries against Australia but its still surprising to believe that they could not do it in their era of captaincy.

Fragile ...is not suitable for the attack of Aus...No 1 country, Amongst the Top 7-8 bowlers of the country..Constantly hitting 135 even without lee their attack is better than any other country...I feel Indian Cricket Standards are getting very high... when I was kid I never saw india beating best countries or even getting so close to victories... As soon as Gavaskar gone whole batting line up crumbled...Only Kapil and Gavaskar played with Elaan against the Best...Rest struggled

k then by ur logic the best batsmen should nvr come from oz and all those who made runs against india are waste. as india nvr had any great bowlers.

I would not say that because making runs against India in India is a really a daunting task because of spin conditions and decent spinners we had atleast till Kumble's tenure. But abroad especially outside subcontinent everybody knows the truth so I don't want to speak about that.
Number 124 adds up to 7.Also,2nd ODI is significant. Dhoni was born on July 7 ,1981.So,numbers 2 and 7 are immensely important for him. BesidesDhoni was born in the Zodiacal Sign of Cancer, ruled by Moon.Number 2 is symbolised by Moon.
At the time of appointment as captain he had played in 20(2 0=2)Test Matches. Numbers 2 and 7 have highly influenced Dhoni.

Why was he not out at other numbers like 133, 61, 70, 52, 115, 214, 142, etc Why did he chose this match only to get out on a number that adds up to his birth day? The fact is that human life is generally big (and really big for people like Dhoni) to find out such instances. I am sure there will be many instances where Dhoni failed on days which add up to his birth date too.
This is 152th time i'm commenting and 112th time if somebody responds to my message. Is it a good statistics..I'm sure, all of you will hate this statistics..I guess, i get the same feeling when i read these statistics. Don't make up numbers just for the sake of it.

Do not forget that Sachin is cricket and cricket for all the cricket lovers in the world. Even tree starts bearing fruits after some time, so you cannot curse the tree that has given you fruits for all the long years that felt like nectar for you. Sachin is human being and you will never come across such a sturdy and performing human being after Amitabh Bacchan in INdia. Better ponder before you write.

Mr Sunil...nobody is denying that he is & will remain on of the greatest cricketer. But I am certainly not sure about tree, fruit etc that you mention. But every thing has a start & end. What majority of people is thinking that he should stick to Test Crciket only & give way to new players in ODI & 20-20; which is reasonable.

I entirely agree with you. It is high time Sachin retires from ODI/T20 with DIGNITY and pave the way for promising youngsters.

not scoring run by sachin is not a problem for team india because his presence with the team makes every indian player a winner while the opponent player will feel loser. in cricketing world he is more valuable than 'kohinoor'....

Well Said Ajit Agarkar becoz Ajit Agarkar will bowl against sachin in 8th ODI so definately Sachin will score Century you might expect even double century
India achieved their 350th win in 723 one-day internationals. Only Pakistan (381) and Australia (445) have registered more victories than India. The above figures always matters & Pakistan is ahed of India because there players plays only Cricket they dont divert their attention to commercial ads or fashon ramp etc. etc. They maintain the distance from glamour world.

I "bet" most of them were fixed! on the other hand, Does Pak have any "glamour world"? I remember seeing, WHOLE Pak team in Pepsi commercial when they were touting about Shoaib speeding 100mph. First Pak needs to come-out of their internal problems, attacking foreign teams (who soever dares to play in Pak!) and match fixing.

by Anitha on Oct 29, 2009 07:43 PM
Hello Amrit You have to see the opposition with whom they have won, also they must have had different teams every 2 year whereas our scene changed once in 8 years, I dont think advertisement is one reason, Also most of the Pakis were tested postive for Drugs...
Re: Pak
by Ashwin on Oct 29, 2009 07:42 PM
pakistan does not have any glamor world. They dont have the big companies willing to pay huge sums to their players otherwise they would be the first to jump as such opportunity. Look at their players who played in ICL. Their players didnt even care if they were boycotted from playing for their country as long as they were maing money for themselves in ICl.
Re: Pak
by Aseem Nigam on Oct 30, 2009 10:32 AM
off course if Pakis had a parallel Lucrative career in glamour world in Pakistan, Stats would be 281 victories not 381...
Will Sachin do something in Current ODI series? Serious doubts are concerned...lets hope he do so before its gone useless like scoring when series almost over as 4-3, 5- 2, or 6-1 in favour of either team...
